Usually a leap is brought in a show when trp is low...but yrkkh is the No. 1 show on channel...when previous generation leap was introduced other SP shows were doing quite good in comparison yrkkh position wasn't good unlike at present it is the only show from the channel that is consistently No. 1 SP show from 3 years (minus disastrous Mihir track and few weeks when Kulfi was No. 1) while considering leap of 6-7 years where story focused on grown up Naira...before that...SP wanted yrkkh to go off air...so RS tried to make it have better numbers in comparison to other SP shows with fresh story and rinse repeat of YHM with daughter hating her mother...presently it is still the top trp garner for the channel...other SP shows are not doing well...unlike previous times well all SP shows were liked by viewers...Kaira even when ruined are bringing in trp...people have lost interest due to dragfest for 5-6 months....Kaira are being shown divorced parents...who have completely give up on their relationship...with no progress in storyline...the illegal or annulled marriage was considered legal with divorce without even repeating the vows...with Kartik still being married to Vedika and Kaira dreaming about each other...if this story of infidelity was portrayed by any other leads...it might have been rejected....Silsila wasn't successful though story was poles apart from Kaira's story but still...Kartik is not doing anything about his namesake marriage...Naira promised Vedika but is not fulfilling her promise...someday Kairav will get to know the truth...truth about his mother depriving him of father's love for 5 years...his father's second marriage...CVs are again promoting regressive message...divorce parents should act like happy married couple for their kids...instead of telling them truth and making them adjust by co-parenting let them built castle of dreams....Kartik can file for divorce with Vedika...whom he cannot give wife's rights...who is a nobody for him....Kartik and Naira could be shown acting like happy married couple after Kartik marriage with Vedika being declared annulled...to prolong this pathetic track they didn't end Vedika's character...

It’s extremely hard to digest and I will probably stay in denial till the day approaches but best is to not give up hope right now. There must be a reason for Rajan Shahi to reveal such a huge piece of information this early on. Usually leaps are kept under wrap till the last minute, like the Mumbai track and the current one.

He knows how fans would react to this information. In no way is he that kind to reveal it this early to give us time to mentally prepare ourselves. He seems like an opportunist, who uses people to the max before discarding them out of his life. He still has a lot to gain from Shivin and their popularity. The team knows the only reason the show has sustained on top despite the shitty writing is because of people wanting to see Kaira together.

Right now the show is in a very good position. This is RS’s only successful project and SP’s only show at the top. Both of them can’t risk losing the viewership at this stage. Kaira were accepted because they were introduced alongside Akshara. Audience was given time to adapt to the change.

I am gonna try to stay positive and assume there’s more to it. Kaira still have a long way to go.

Kaira had given yr a new life and yr reached to an unprecedented level of success never seen before...but let's face it there is a time limit for everything...and after that it starts becoming stale and starts destroying the legacy which they created so they must end it at the right time..if rs decided to end kaira s story it's a good idea ...

The new generation might be as good as the previous ones...new cast new story new couple ..but I really dont want to see goenkas any longer ..they are no match to singhanias and maheshwaris...the way kairav is acting like a rebel these days , he may copy his mom's footsteps and leave his house..

All this is very strange since Feb leaps aren't announced in November.. anything can change in these months...rajan shahi seems to be facing some other issues ...

I don't think this is his only successful project on StarPlus as look at YRHPK. That forum is buzzing everyday much more than this forum. I think he is more invested in the new show and it shows in the product. I personally think after February the show should no longer carry the same name YRKKH but he should just create a show with a new name and new beginning. The mistake he made which should not be repeated is just focusing on the two main leads and not giving the rest of the cast their own storyline. He has corrected this mistake in YRHPK where he is continuing the original essence of YRKKH.

He has mentioned that the main leads never gave him trouble and always accepted whatever track was presented to them but perhaps now one of them may have said something about the track or may have made an issue that they were not happy with the current track of the show. He said no one is bigger than the show. Perhaps Mohsin didn't like playing Karthik as a man who remarried as his character was butchered. I am just speculating and don't have a clue of what has actually happened.

Yrhpk doesn’t even compare to Yrkkh. Yrkkh’s ratings and the popularity speak for themselves. An active forum is no measure of a show’s success.

I do agree with you regarding renaming the show. Why not start a fresh show with a fresh star cast instead of cashing on yrkkh. The show has run its course if they have no ideas left for Kaira. Apparently, most tracks and scenes of the spin-off are copied from Yrkkh. When they don’t have fresh ideas for the spin-off, what new ideas would they have for Kaira’s children?

YKHPK is a new show and given time it will rise in the ranks. Mishbir won an award "Best Young Social Media Jodi." It has essence of true YRKKH but it has it's own story which includes multiple storylines. The last few months I have had more interest in that show. Anyway I think this announcement is a blessing in disguise. It is better to end something before audience truly starts complaining about the tracks and this effects the TRP. Pretty much after Naira ran to Goa this show went really downhill for me so I got detached from the show. Time will tell what truly happens.

Currently the top show on tv is choti sardhani ..highest trp..it’s got a quite progressive concept going on there..but that forum has like no activity for days..whereas bepanah pyaar Which has a below 1 trp has like the most active forum currently..but that’s tv trp as most overseas and many India fans watch these shows online as well.. I think if a show has something that interests people the forum will be active as there will be something to talk and write about., members of a forum are few who post but if the Show has an interesting track it will generate discussion... at the moment all of us are very tired of the vedika and kaira separation track...they’ve dragged it for months. We are so disillusioned...we don’t know what to discuss anymore..but remember initially after the leap ,.when it was still the Goa track ..the forum was buzzing ..because we all had so many hopes and wishes that the makers killed when they got karthik married to 🦎....and made all the characters accept it. So yrkkh still has its loyal fans who watch daily because of our love for kaira ..hence the high trps ....but currently we all are majorly disappointed with what’s happening .. as for the other shows where the forums are buzzing ...the lead jodis In those shows are still fresh and new and their fans are still in the honeymoon phase where they are still enjoying the chemistry and rapport between the leads and their new love stories..

I do believe viewers do like fresh jodhi's because after awhile recycling the same thing over and over again makes a couple stale. How many times can a couple marry and separate? In this case Kaira have been separate more than they have been together. As far as the current situation we have good actors that are not being utilized properly due to the poor track. In a way the show is stuck because they can't show them older as it won't suit them so their only choice is move to the next generation which would be Vansh, Krish, and Kairav grownup.

I would have preferred to see growth and maturity in Kaira instead of what has been shown. Naira was having a career as a jewelry designer and they could have moved forward with the couples story instead of introducing a separation track.
