For the five years of torture the poor chap has experienced (and which must've felt like pain and misery worth 50 years), a one-time, short-lived pretend marriage is still digestible. Although I feel it's extremely immature and not becoming of a man who's just realized he has a son and that son is lying sick in the hospital. I am not sure why coming off on drama is ITV's goal...I mean, viewers sure can accept AND enjoy mature conversations, mature relationships...all this breaking and snapping off..yelling and hurting...and then hurting back to get even..all so nasty and immature.
Can you imagine being in such a toxic relationship and still wanting that person in your life? Can anybody imagine surviving this IRL?!
If karthik isn't already married to vedika but goes ahead and marries her even after knowing about naira being alive and the two of them having a son together who is very sick and pining to have a whole family, then karthik for me will be equally wrong. I'm already annoyed at karthik for making himself look like a victim after naira's death by not disclosing how she really died from the families just as much as I'm annoyed at naira for hiding her being alive and having a son from everyone, but I would lose any sympathy I have for karthik the moment he once again plays the victim card for naira hiding from him and forgetting that he has a son for whom he and naira should be putting their problems aside for. If karthik chooses his anger towards naira and his promise of marriage to vedika over his son's happiness and betterment, I'm equally also done with him. He'd look just as selfish and immature as naira has been looking.
