Kaira to me are too immature right now to be a good married couple. In marriage, more than love, respect, trust and moving in the same direction is important but all Kaira show is that they are so madly in love even when their love can be destructive to others. They never consider that their goals and opinions can be different and how to compromise, such as Naira insisting to have the baby and making the baby her priority even though Kartik did not want the baby for the sake of Naira's health and the fact that Naira is Kartik's first priority over the baby. Then knowing that her health is weak and anything can happen, they should have planned optimally not like Naira saying that she will die if anything happens to her baby. I understand she would have been devastated and grief-stricken but there was a possibility due to her poor health. Plus they literally did not planning for after the baby came.
Kartik only wants Naira. He doesn't care for anything else or anyone else and his world revolves around Naira. Naira also is crazy in love with Kartik and she cares for her family too. But they have no boundaries, no limits, no structure in their relationship which can stabilize it. Naira should have realized/ known that Kartik is too fearful for her health. Her insisting on the baby and then having the baby only made matters worse resulting in the baby swap. Obviously the baby swap is completely Kartik's fault, I mean what was he thinking? but both should have planned to have the baby later. Not only in terms of health, but also mentally Kaira were not prepared to have a baby. There is no real life struggle in career and there is no growth in their relationship. What is point of all these twists and terms, if Naira and Kartik don't grow and become stronger? Their families are pretty useless, like they can't figure out the crux of the matter which is both have severe communication problems and believe that endless romance is what marriage is made of.
In this show, there are two main couples, Akshara-Naitik and Kartik-Naira and frankly the former were better. It feels like the CVS are trying to show that arranged marriage is better than love marriage for they have just shown constant negative ramifications of love marriage. The actors essaying the characters of Kartik and Naira are very attractive and have chemistry to make the show work, but the essence of YRKKH has been destroyed and I would never want anyone to take inspiration from Kaira or Kartik and Naira as individuals.
