After Manish sunaoed Kartik during the haldi ceremony, I hoped we got a scene where Kartik for once realises how selfish he had been in the past 2 years. We might blame Swarna, but it was all Kartik's doing. His big, fat ego couldn't handle Naira hiding about Shubham, about Shubham confiding in Naira, and not him, Naira not being there for him to release his anger and frustration on, just to name a few things. Instead of getting a good scene where Kartik reflects, we got Mansi wanting Kaira to apply haldi together despite of knowing the status of their relationship. In sensitiveness at its peak. Even though now is too late, I still wouldn't mind if Kartik relapses 🤣
What irks me the most about him was after the milan he said hed never leave bla bla and they both did what they always did. Naira lied/ kept secrets from him and he was ready to leave her for that before suwarna explained to him he got pissed and said once again she lied to me.
By them focusing on others they are never able to grow as individuals why must they constantly help others sure they are kind souls but how can they not understand after all the pain and problems they have been through if you are not happy nobody else will be happy stop putting the family above each other...
Kartik promises naira the world but it comes of so fake to me sometimes coz these little things nag at me...I dont have a problem with his anger etc or naira's need to hide things...What i have a problem with is the fact they expect me to believe that his annoyance of lies been hidden from him will no be magically cured coz naira nearly die after she tried to lie and leave him before that? what logic is that... they needed to perhaps just date each other rather than jumping into a new shadi by doing this they seem like lusty tweens ...
His drinking could have been a good plot they could have shown the social message that if ur drunk its never to late to change...and u can be cured no they show us that lame divorce...speech naira gave some random auntys on the road i thnk thats what the divorce was for not for character growth just for that speech
So many things could have happened instead of the wedding.
The judge could have asked Kaira to stay together, but apart from families, for 6 months.
Naira could have gone to college in Udaipur, made new friends, Kartik could have been jealous, seeing Naira's indifferent attitude.
Instead of Naira apologising, everyone could have known Swarna knew her reason behind the divorce, she chose to delete all of her calls to distance Kaira, she knew about the accident.
The Goenkas could have realised Swarna has mental issues. I am not saying this as a joke or sarcasm, but she got panic attacks, so instead of agreeing with everything she said and did, and being afraid of her, they could have knocked some sense into her.
Naitik and Naksh could have taken a stand against Kartik, and Goenkas, instead of dancing with them in Sangeet.
Naira could have gotten into an accident, and Singhania's could have refused Kartik the right to see her.
Need I add more things?
At the end of the day (5 months in this case), we got a rushed realisation, good and much-needed apology from Kartik, and a milan which made Kaira seem as hormonal teenagers who broke-up rather than a matured couple who got divorced.
There is no point in discussing about what could have been, unless like Ishqbaaz we get a redux, where the story changes completely (I don't watch that show btw), but I just don't understand if we as fans could be this invested in characters, why can't the writers and producers do the same? Are these characters not their babies, who they nurtured and brought to this point. How easy is it for them to completely ruin them just to add to the drama, like who can ever forget Kartik's behaviour towards Naira during the whole engagment, and before that even. He called her chi, forced the ring out of her finger, didn't even look behind to see if she was alright, he accused her of hiding the rings for no rhyme or reason, threw mud at her, and the list continues. We don't even see these scenes in flashbacks because the writers probably want them forgotten, but they did ruin Kaira's essence to an extent. Now everything they say just seems like a joke. Their promises seem fake and unrealistic, but they are still cute, so can't help but watch the show.
Il be honest i loved kartik taking care of naira in the hospital but now that they are normal i find all their promises fake 😆and idiotic i keep thinking in my head they got divorced W*F is this nonsense of them learning not only they got divorced the fams got divorced as well🤢😆
There plan probably involves showing Kaira as mahaan beings, who sort everyone's problems. On the side, they will keep giving us lolipop Kaira scenes to make the fandom happy. I think after the high trps that they got from the OTT drama, they have gotten used them, and now don't want to take a risk by slowing down, even for an episode.
Yesterday's episode was relatively calm, but today was full of insane dramatic effects like the fog, and of course Dadi's "Nehiii".
Its so funny though that people keep saying that this show has run its course (including me), and its been 9 years, but despite that the show is on top. Even after this time, I don't see it ending till at least the next 2 years until and unless something drastic happens (god forbid). Its true its been 9 years, but Kaira only joined 2.5 years ago, so they are still fresh.
--I love the show...I only watched from when kaira entered and that too from this year only i love every minute of it😆 i will watch anything with mohsin and shivangi as a couple😆
its unusual in a sense it lacks the constant negativity that other shows have i just feel they need to work on how they wrap up tracks its constantly dragged and built up all leading to nothing😭 and we end up disappointed...
