Yeh rishta nowadays became completely directionless. We can't predict how the character gonna respond. One episode they r feerless, supporting naira, another episode they become coward and blame naira, the next they are loving and showing concern for her and another episode they all r hating her badly. Writers are too confused how bring this directionless show back to track. They have messed up everything.😕

I guess they are trying to show that people deal with their emotions differently.
Naira seems to be in denial. She can't believe that the relationship is really over.
Losing a life partner in divorce can make a person grieve as if they lost someone due to death.
She is trying to hold on to something that she has lost. She lost a bit of identity. (Mrs. Goenka, dil)

So how do you go on in life when you feel you have lost a part of your heart? I think she always had hope that things would get resolved but the fact that things got worse hit her really hard.

I also think man and a woman display their emotions differently. Some maybe happy after divorce and some maybe sad. She filed the divorce not because she wanted it but for SM. She sacrificed her own future happiness for her and now she is not able to live with this decision.
