Disappointed! Lack of emotional connection!

With the entire episode during karthik-naira finally meeting and the aftermath, I literally felt nothing but hatred from karthik and him not wanting to see naira at all or have any connection with her. There was not an ounce of emotion that showed this is a girl who he immensely loved and now hates, but instead all I saw was just hatred and no care for her whatsoever. I thought I would see at least a flicker of his love and happiness to see her, even if it was for a brief second, as that would be natural, but it was just like all this was a massive inconvenience to him, to have to cross paths with her. On karthik's side, everything was just incredibly cold. The only thing that i predicted that happened was naira immediately running out and then karthik also hurrying to leave the college, but the expectation I had of seeing that momentary flicker of softeness on karthik's face for naira before the painful memories came flooding back and he shunned her again, did not happen.

In reality that's how relationships are. Everyone that gets married expects that it will be all roses and that they will live happily ever after but it is very complicated and misunderstandings occur. No one imagines that one day the person they love the most they will hate the most. People who were once so close become strangers and it is hard to believe that there was once so much love for each other. This is a reality for some people as their marriages break apart and end in divorce. It is a shock to go through and the grief is as if someone has died. The grief doesn't go away instantly. It takes years to get over and it completely changes a person. Meeting each other like this unexpectedly was a shock for both of them and brought back all the pain of the past which is understandable.

Sadly both sons have paid the price for Suwarna's mistakes. One day she is the one who will be on her hands and knees asking for maafi from everyone.

Karthik rushed to judgement and he doesn't know what Naira has been through the last two years. He has no idea about what happened to her after she left that house. She is no longer Naira Goenka but Naira Singhania.

@rose, yes it may happen that love turns into hatred , but how often does it happen that it keeps switching back and forth ? This.is not hatred. but kartik is trying , with all his might to avoid naira because he doesn't wanna fall for her to keep his mamma dear happy...I never expected this from kartik ...Just 2 mins of drama and rona dhona convinced him that naira is guilty and he walked away...There have been umpteen hiding instances from him and his family also..In future he will do this again (run behind naira) and what do we get to see here ? Switching emotions like tube light

There must be cases where love turns to hatred and then back to love again but that is rare. After divorce sometimes people give the relationship a 2nd chance but that is not really common.

For trps they are eventually going to show a patchup otherwise they would have no story to move forward.

In indian culture boys parents in this case Suwarna has heavy influence on her son. For Karthik he lost a brother that he feels could have survived if things had been handled in time.

Both Karthik and Naira have their own views but what is missing is the trust in one another. Where did that go and why it disappeared so quickly?

For me it is weird to see Karthik like this as it seems out of character. He never resorted to drinking. In a way he is behaving like Shubnam. Naira looks like she has lost hope and has lost faith in Karthik too.

Lets see how the story unfolds. They are acting how the script demands so that is what is shown.

My guess was correct that naira will fall and Naithik will take her to the hospital so her leg was fractured and so she was not able to walk and bed ridden for 1or 2month and also might me doc said she will not able to dance .

So keerthi stopped suvarna Not Karthik and he misses he flight while sleeping or he might drink alcohol and sleep and miss flight.

But Suvarna will again come to Mumbai on next day she wants to meet her beta

She stayed for 20years without Shubham and she never went to see him

I am not liking her character and for sure she played some drama because of Karthik never met naira

This separation is long and it will take another 6months for proper Milan.

6 months? 😕 I doubt yeh rishta will drag this seperation track for 6 months. 2-3 months maybe, but yeh rishta isn't the type of show that shows too much negativity and especially not for a long period of time.

Usp of starplus soaps is female lead popularity. Since kartik was getting more popular and not female lead they finally resorted to this.
