I absolutely loved Karthik tonight little bit extra than usual.
When Dadi started blaming Naira again (well you could say continued blaming Naira as started again would be if Dadi ever stopped, but she always blames Naira), Karthik stands up.
Karthik was right in his decision of him and Naira not having a child, though yes the decision was taken in the heat of the moment and taken without Naira's consideration which was wrong as such a decision must be equally of both parents, but he did apologize for that and admitted he said in anger, but he didn't regret what he said and he definitely shouldn't have any regrets, there is no use of bringing a child, where she wouldn't be loved enough just because she was a girl. It is not like Naira is pregnant and he is taking about abortion. He doesn't want his child to be born in a house where they would receive different treatments based on the gender.
Again with Naira in the room he told her that Dadi was wrong this time and though he knows how much Naira hates seeing other's upset, she must realize that at times people need to understand that they have made a mistake. Making me think that while playing bouncing ball to maintain his anger he had a ear on Naira and Dadi. Even of he didn't and said it generally, I am so glad he talked to her about that and hopefully she understood him and took his words 100% seriously.
