Kartik Goenka, ladies and gentleman, is definitely one of them. He is the very definition of a perfect boyfriend that every girl's dreams are made of. He is her best friend

Before he was her boyfriend, Kartik was Naira's best friend. Nok-jhoks and the absolute fun that they have in each other's company apart, he has always been the one she counted on and the friend that always had her back no matter what. Whether it was trying to save her mum from the kidnappers or dealing with the MMS scandal, Naira always trusted and depended on Kartik to help her get through the most difficult situations and Kartik never let her down, not once! Like all the best friends out there, he doesn't hesitate to take her to task whenever she is out of line either, like the rash driving incident on their way to the picnic spot. Jai has always stood by his Veeru.

He always listens and is extremely understanding

Everything from her pointless arguments to her serious talks, he cares to listen to them all and more importantly understand what she is trying to tell him. Sometimes even the stuff that she is not telling him. He will always hear her out no matter what. The fact proved during the Switzerland track. Even after she had accused him of conspiring against her family and kidnapping her father, he cared enough to listen to her when she asked him to hear her out. Eventually even forgiving her as he understood where she was coming from.

He believes in making it on his own but her dreams are really important as well

The sole heir to the Goenka's fortune, yet he decides he wants to work as a normal employee for another company. Only because he wants to grow and achieve great things in life based solely on his own merits and capabilities. His ambitions are also probably one of the reasons why he gets Naira's passion and her own ambitions to start a dance academy as well. Which is why even when everyone else including Naira had given up hope, he goes through all kinds of trouble to submit her application on time and give her the start that she needed. From then till now, he has always been her biggest support along with her mother to follow her dreams.

He loves and cares for her family as his own

He adores the bond that everyone in both Singhanias and Maheshwaris share with each other and the love and respect they have for relationships and each other. He has grown to accept and love them as his own family. Becoming their savior multiple times, to Nannu, Naksh, Gayu and Kuhu apart from Naira herself. He had the biggest contribution in clearing the misunderstanding between the mother-daughter duo and uniting them. He has also been indispensable to Naitik and Akshara in the office as well. Both the families in turn have grown love and accept him as one among them as well. While Naira's younger cousin, Mishti has become his biggest supporter and his BFF, her Naani' has quite a special relationship with him as well, never leaving a chance to take her Rajabeta's' side no matter what.

He is unbelievably romantic

Even if we go only by his dreams, we know Kartik is an extremely romantic guy and he wears his heart on his sleeves, unafraid to show anyone how much he cares and absolutely adores Naira. No one can forget his first confession. On his knees, with her hand in his, he couldn't stop saying how much he loved her, 26 being the exact numberof times he said I love you'. It will forever remain one of the best confessions on TV! Neither can we forget the little box, holding all his feelings for her that he had carefully treasured nor the ring that he planned to give to the princess when he asked her to become his queen. He even bought her a dress after he noticed how disappointed she was to not have it in her size. I can honestly go on.

She will always be his first priority

Naira will always be above everything and everyone else. This fact was yet again made obvious with the recent two incidents. One was when his Daadi' expressed her concern over their relationship and how Naira could be bad for him. He not only dismissed the entire issue as if it didn't matter at all but also made it clear to everyone that Kartik would not exist without Naira. Second, with his decision to live separately with Naira. He was ready to go against everyone including his Daadi' to protect her from the lies, the deceit and the toxic environment that he believed his family was.

Add sexy voice and handsome as heck to the list as well and we have a winner! Honestly, the guy is so completely faultless. If there is a flaw, it is only the fact that he puts Naira and her opinion of him always above everything including his own life ( which he needs to work on ) When his fictional peers are having a hard time competing with that, how can a real person stand a chance? The answer is quite simple. They can't! To all the girls out there, if you really are waiting for your own "Mendak meets Mendaki" moment, don't hold your breath. I'm sorry to be the bearer of bad news but no one can be as perfect as Naira's Kartik. So unless you want to spend the rest of your life imagining yourself in Naira's place watching repeats of YRKKH, you might want to consider lowering those standards that he help set, down a couple of notches.
