Why people are so happy that Naira rejected marriage shagun ? - Page 3

Naira and week? Are u serious? She is the person handling the whole family after aks death. She is trying her best to handle the bussiness and still she is weak because she rejected the shagun. It doesn't make sense to me. Naira wasnt prepared for the marriage and she has lost her mother recently. Naitik is not well, she wants to take care of him so she didnt wanted to get married. It was clear that dadi wanted the marriage asap that naira didnt wanted, so she didnt accept the shagun and said it clearly that she doesnt want to marry right now. Later naitik made her understand and she got ready for the marriage. THATS IT.

she nvr blvd in love nor does she expected that her best friend ll propose her all of a sudden.she was suppose to take her time but its kartik who was all excited to hear a yes n thus terrified her more.just coz she rejected kartik that time doesnt mean "shes weak" a person whos 20yrs old handling that village type family n bussiness,her father,kartik's happiness n now his so called goenka family is whatever but not weak.anyone's life doesnt revolve around just his/her love story.sumone characterisation comes up becoz of her overall behaviour not what she does in her love life.being the youngest taking up the responsibilities of whole family n even before in orphanage taking care of children n ofcourse standing up for herself without any "hero" n always supporting whats right delivers her as one of the best sketched female lead.not "weak" n yes shes no godly woman who by birth ll b sum superwoman n mahanta ki murat..they hv literally made her a lively character by showing her full growth from birth till now abt how a normal person grows up n how she turns out to b a role model.

Well I didn't mean naira is weak. I feel the character hasn't been sketched well. I agree the goenkas should have come after discussing the matter earlier on.
however she could have accepted the shagun and then asked for extension just as naitik has done the very next day. its just to add drama and create differences between the families.
when I meant weak, I meant you go from postponing to proposing in a span of hours. had they shown a few days where she takes her time 'mourning' and supporting her family, this would have made more sense.
But I love kaira and couldn't wait to watch their proposal so ya I was very happy anyways.

I really can't understand. There is a huge difference between ''rejecting'' and ''wanting some more time to get married''. She could have easily accepted the shagun and asked for some more time to get married and in order to help her family.

In order to "stand for what she wants" Naira could have accepted the shagun but delay the marriage till some time. But rejecting it doesn't make sense. I guess folks aren't understanding the meaning of rejection. It simply means I can't marry you. Folks also can't see the other side of the coin. Just think what Karthik's parents will feel like when Naira will so call reject the shagun. They have every reason to feel insulted. I really don't think after doing so much for Naira, Kathik deserves this !

She loves rejecting I guess ! Helping Naitik can be done with Naira - Karthik being together. I don't see a point in ''rejecting'' the marriage proposal. Naira is a very weak character. First, she rejected Karthik's love proposal, then after a while she realized she's in love. Now this ! Rejecting this for ''some more time to move on'' will put herself in a situation where she can lose Kathik altogether and she deserves to lose Karthik according to me. Can't believe she's the daughter of Akshara !

Don't think that I'm an Akshara fan. I just feel the character of Naira isn't sketched well and find her weak and apprehensive to take decision.

My POV !

the thing is she is not a weak character but a very realistic woman that you and me can connect and relate to . She is not at all type of goody good female lead unlike the other so called female leads who can only do good things ! she makes mistake and then learn from it and thats what makes her character unique ! she doesnt like rejecting but the circumstances maade her do so . And again she is a type of female lead who makes right and WRONG. decisions, u can barely see any female lead making wrong decisions but naira is very relistic . she rejected Karthik in first place bcaz she wasnt aware of her feeling for Karthik second she rejected him caz of gayu . Ur not aksharas fan nor nairas but im guessing ur GAYU's Fan but idk

She seemed at loss even before that. Notice her earlier scenes with Karthik, how didn't she ever get a hint that Karthik loves her ! The character isn't written & graphed well.

And yaa gayu ko itni unknown hints mil gayi that kartik loves her. Naira never ever though about any guy, her life partner so she didnt understand any of his hints.
