Don't kill me but when N started doubting K, that episode he had some doctor's reports and someone on the AT had suggested that maybe K's mother died of some disease and it was possible k to inherit it so he needed to go for monthly or weekly check ups for the same. Maybe something wrong in his reports and he wants to distance himself from N.
