I'm not saying naitik is wrong. All I mean Is it's not foolish of akshara. She's pregnant, isn't her acting this way justified too? She probably knows deep down somewhere that if she told naitik.. Akshara would be his priority.. She's not ready to give up her baby coz it obviously means something to heraswell .
See, the bottom line is that by keeping Naitik in oblivion she is denying him his very right of a husband and a father. Naitik has every right on earth to know about the problem as much as Akshara does. Hiding or thinking of making such a crucial decision on his behalf is as wrong as can be and so Naitik's anger is very much justified.
I know it's difficult for people to act much logically in such situations but every bit of Akshara's logic, I am sorry to say, seems to have drained down the gutter. What is she trying to do or is doing, I fail to understand. The baby as well as herself, both of them together are not safe was pretty evident form the doctor's statement. A choice between them, here, is thus indispensable and she knows the Singhanias will chose her over the baby, anyday. Then what is she waiting for? When does she plan to tell everybody? Where does the dilemma even crop in when there's no chance of saving the baby without putting her life at stake?
I know she's hurting because she doesn't want to lose the baby and let down everybody's expectations but if she feels that staking her life for the baby is the solution, them I am sorry but she's being foolish. Specially when she knows that Naitik cannot afford to lose the most precious thing he has and that's her.
