I'm a bit upset of why my post "Bad messages in this day and age"
has been deleted from this forum.

There was no offensive material, no swearing.

People here really need to smarten up about other people's views. People can be die hard crazy fans of shows and characters, but they need to grow up and listen to other people's views about certain views relating to the shows and characters. They can be different, they can be questionable - and so as long as they don't offend anything/anyone - and aren't duplicates - they should not be deleted.

What a shame! 😔

I really liked your discussion. It's a pity that maturity level of some people causes thought provoking topics to be closed.

I guess talking about 'cute couples' and 'romance' is top priority. Anything serious should be shunned. Ostrich mentality anyone?

While we are at it, on the International Women's Day, why don't we just drop all discussion on the plight of females in India and why India is the 4th worst country in the world for females (sarcasm).

It's kinda shocking. I had read the topic, and I didn't find anything offensive about it at all.

I'm not surprised the post was deleted. Sadly this is the story of the forum lately. I read your post and it was thought provoking but you just can't utter a word against naitik and bam, you're termed as a basher. We are advised what to discuss, what not to discuss and then how to discuss. Freedom goes in drain except when you speak about how lovely husband naitik is or naksh romance.

Sorry if I offended anyone but this is how I summaries this forum off lately.

Thank you people for agreeing with me.

And yes, I'm no basher, I just had a view about somethings that I couldn't get my mind around in the show with the characters.

The view was about showing a change in attitude.

I have to say, I'm not a teenie bopper or completely infatuated with any show or person. I appreciate shows and share good and critical views sometimes.

I notice (in this website especially) there are certain people who are so die hard about their person/show that they ignore the meaning/content of your post and override it a comment that makes the writer think that they were just posting it to the most immature person in the world.

You make one decent post and there are five people who (at most times have very poor English) trying to make you feel that what you just said is not true/thinkable.

Grow up.

If you don't like what someone is saying about your show/character, don't reply. Or if you do chose to reply, don't bash them trying to say that they are completely wrong.

I choose to be serious because the topic that has been deleted dealt with 'Bad messages in this day and age'. Bad attitude and behavior towards women start in the home and is carried out into the community at large. The onus is on us to raise our sons to respect women. The topic starter was sharing her interpretation of Naitik's behavior towards Akshara and how it could influence others since its an international show and this could prove to be a bad message.

I happen to agree with the topic starter. There was no bashing of any person but rather a critical review of the characterisation. When you choose to view the show purely for entertainment purposes and open topics that are frivolous, we do not hijack the thread and ask why are you being so frivolous, so why question why we are being serious. Each to his own.

i totally agree with you...this has been going on this forum for a really long time...it is all about how cute Natik and Akshara look...anything that does not agree with it is not acceptable...that is why I barely come to this forum because you cannot share your views and have a proper discussion...there is only so much you can talk about a couple...there are many other things to discuss in this show..
