Polki Di,
here's the translated version.. 😃

Pyaar mil jaye , piya ka...
May i find the love of my beloved,
pyaar mil jaye haan aisa pyaar mil jaye...
yes, may i find the love of my beloved.
gowri shankar ji ke jaisi , jodi ban jaye ...
May he and i make a perfect couple, just like Gauri Shankar (Shiv Parvati)
haan aisi jodi ban jaye ,
Yes, may we become the perfect couple.
thode se na toote, thode se na chute ,
The bond which is unbreakable,
aise ban jaye ...aise ban jaaye...
May our bond become like that..
preet ho jaye amariye , preet ho jaye ...
May this love be immortal,
preet ki reet ho jaye..
May our love get it's name ( actually, im not sure of this one.. reet is tradition, preet is love - it might be, love get it's tradition or something)

Rang main rang jaye sindhuri ,
Sindoor is red in colour, red is the colour of suhaag - or bridal colour - May I be coloured in red
rang main rang jaye o ham bhi aise rang jaye
Oh yes, may i be coloured in red.
gowri maiyan jaise rangi hai shivji ke rang main
The way Parvati Ma has been coloured in Shivji's colour,
o ham bhi aise rang jaye ,
May i also get coloured in the colour of my beloved..
ham ne jo sapne bune hai
The dreams which we have weaved,
aankho main jo saje hai poore ho jaye
the dreams which our eyes have seen, may those come true,
poore ho jaye... janmo janmo tak piya ka saath miljaye
May i get the support of my beloved for ages,
piya ka saath mil jaye...
May i get the support of my beloved for ages..

preet sajan ki yeh jagh main sabse pyaari hai...
The love of my beloved is the most lovable
yeh jagh main sabse nyaari hai...
yess, it's most pure and lovable ( pyaari-nyaari signify the same thing - lovable)
saajna ke pyaar bin kaise kate din re...
It's saajna ke pyar bin kaise kate din RAYN
meaning without the love of my beloved, how will these days and nights pass,
bitana pal pal bhari hai...
it's hard to tell..
ham ko aisa var jo khwaala puri kar do jo hamari hai...
Give me a groom like i've asked, please hear to our expectations,
jo hamari hai...
which we have from you..
preet kam na ho sajan ki gowri shankar se prartana yahi hamari hai...
We pray to God that the love of my beloved never declines..

chehera anjaana hai ab tak
The face is unknown till now,
chehera anjaana yeh dil phir kyun dhadakta hai...
The face us unknown till now, but i don't know why this heart beats,
kiski aahat hai na jaane...
Who's coming, i don't know,
kiski aahat hai yeh dil phir kyun dhadakta hai ...
Who's coming? but i don't know why this heart beats,
haan yeh dil kyun dhadakta hai...
yess, why this heart beats..😊

the song was aired on 26th jzan 2009, just 12 days after the show started, and from the lyrics, you can readily make out how a girl is feeling!😃

the last few lines, where akshara is alone, 'chehra anjaana hai abtak, chehra anjaana' touches my heart, and im sure, you have been bowled over as well..😆
very beautiful depiction of Rajasthani culture and ofcourse a naive girl's hidden feelings about her marriage and her would be life partner..😃

as for Poland, well - im not THAT weak in geography di..😆 i know where Poland is.. it's near Germany, France i believe.. actually, my father worked in Bulgaria a few years back, and i went to meet him and noticed the culture over there.. very gloomy! i went in december so may be because of cold people didn't come out of their houses or whateve.. but can i assume you have a similar lifestyle in Poland as well?

Fanaa was shot in Poland? really? it was portrayed as Kashmir here, i think..😆

Your Geography is very good 😊. Although Bulgaria is nearer, but it had no touch with our culture or tradition. We are more similar to Czech or Slovak... you know, the "Slavic" states.
Yes, in december it gets really cold and very gloomy because of that. We are more refreshed in the spring 😆. But, comparatively to India or other places in Europe too, Polish people tend to live within themselves.
Our population is very low, and we tend to be less social. But we have lovely towns, parks, gardens 😊, good streets and good environment to live in.
Yes, Fanaa was filmed in Poland, maybe because Kashmir is a cold place (with lots of mountains), and Poland is even more cold with many mountains 😆. Kashmir is a disputed land I think, and so maybe they didnt risk to make a movie there.
Thank you so much for the translation 😊😳, you are much talented. Where you live?

yeah, yeah.. i do realise it now..😆 i have not visited europe, just one country, bulgaria.. otherwise i have heard, it's a beautiful place!😃

it's okk perhaps, to live like that.. every place follows a different culture and why should poland be left behind..😊

i think more than bonding, infrastucture should be strenghthened at a large scale.. here in india, there's so much poverty - it hurts to see that..
but even then, i love the fact that we people celebrate our joys and sorrows together, no matter what the circumstances may be!😊

I understand, the bondings between relationships are precious. Europe is not the same.
I found many unique experiences in India. My in-laws also live in Delhi, we have a home there 😊. I am not sure the street name 😆, but its near Connaught Place I think, its Hailey Road maybe. My husband is on his way from work, so I will ask later 😊.
I will be in India next winter, maybe then I can go Rajasthan. Last time I were in India, I visited UP (my father in laws ancestral home). India gets so hot in Summer, and I get rashes without car AC and some shield . My skin don't have much melanin, and so it is not too good with the sun . Once, in Delhi, I came out in Sun on July, to visit the Lotus Temple ... and I was red like tomato, and my arms had rashes . Also back ... its painful. I don't get much tan, and when I get, it don't stay for long.
In Poland we remember those days when I heard the grand parent people were all having families. We lost it somewhere, but the youth (specially girls) wish there was more consistency.
A strange thing I noticed in India, among the youth ... some feel that their family value or authentic way of life is very regressive. They wish to follow hollywood! Some of them infact prefer live in relationships than marriages. Some movies I saw, which seem to suggest it. I was a bit surprised, because these are the same things we in Poland feel so tired and horrified about nowadays.

don't ask di.. India gets way too hot during summers.. that's why people here are a bit dusky.. the scorching summer heat.. i remember going to school was a tough task..
yeah it is certainly advisable to you to visit india only in winter.. Poland is a cold country, therefore u won't feel the cold.. but here, people say delhi's winters are also very harsh..😆

sadly enough, this is the reality.. the youth here is aping the west like anything!😲 they don't realise that people out there long for our culture and they are like just trying to shed off the burden og being an Indian..
i never associate moderninty with culture.. infact, amongst my peers, im still very conservative! i firmly believe that a woman is the beare of her house and she should not rely on her man to do so! a modern woman should be able to work, as well as take care of her household in an equally efficient manner.. too bad, the definiton of 'modernity' has changed here di..😔 the people out here feel that being modern refers to wok hard, party harder and leave the kids and the home in the hands of servants..

live-in relationship, well im strongly, strongly against it.. im sure there would be few people who would agree with me, but sadly enough only a small fraction of society thinks like me.. well i respect their views, but personally, this is not something i'd suggest someone of doing!
the films, well - they're crap.. really.. barring a few meaningful films, the other are just rubbish, really..

it is so so so nice to talk to you Di.. it's great to know you better and better with each post!😃

😆😃 ... today I was following the posts in this forum. Just reading as my little one just slept, and the big one (my husband) checking accounts.
Its interesting that Akshara now had her son Duggu, and she even found some sociopath lover for her 😆... well, I guess the show people add these stuff to make things exciting.
My cousin had such a man once calling her. At first she thought it was her boyfriend (and they are engaged now). But later she was confused. He used to call her, and then hung up. It scared her to death and she informed the police, who never really got hold of the person who used to call. Later, strangely, when the neighbors left for the UK (as the husband of the neighbor family got a job there), suddenly the call stopped. The neighbor family was a man his wife and twins. Now my sister remembers that she used to get calls only on weekends. Many other things make her feel it was the neighbor man.
Its so wicked really. Who needs ghosts when such people are around?
If a girl is unfortunate enough to get a stalker, life can take the most miserable turns. So its sometimes best to keep the "smile" away 😉😆😃...
I learn so much about India from you! How is the temperature now? ... Hailey street is near canning street, which is near AP Bhawan and Ashoka Road 😃 ... God bless I don't know so much really. All I know is that we have home there, my in laws live, its a nice secure and clean little place to be in. I used to really get scared of Delhi dogs though 😕.
Contrary to many websites, I never got too many stares for being a white girl in Delhi. I've seen other white people around. However, ofcourse, when in those shopping places like Nehru Place or another such place which I forget ... the little street urchin or begger would surround be. I still vividly remember, I once gave my half eaten icecream, and I was surrounded. Later I gave some money, and more came... my husband warned me but I was foolishly saddened... later we literally had to run to the car! ... they actually ran after me, until some policeman (or guard) came to stop, but even they couldnt and I ran off to the car and we drove away 😆😃 ... I've not donating anything anymore in Delhi streets thats for sure 😆

Yeah absolutely! but i must tell you, YR is much, much toned down when we compare to other serials..😲 in others shows that were really famous, people marry, get divorced and then marry again! people die, come back and then die again!😲🤣 not as a YR fan im saying this, but even generally, YR is almost sans drama.. just daily life situations mixed with a few twists and turns to make the story intriguing!😊 no vamps, no over the top drama, just simple and sober..😃

how true it is Di.. people just don't care about others these days.. and issues like stalking and rapes are some of the horrendous crimes one can commit.. i find murder holier than these rapes and other cases which we hear of..

Life is so unpredictable di.. but it really hurts when life takes a complete u-turn when you're nowhere at fault..😔

Temperature is reaching new heights everyday di.. just don't ask.. 47 degree Celsius - the highest this summer.. even on somewhat cooler days, temperature lurks around 45-46 degrees very easily.. it's too damn hot here..
yeah i know Ashoka Road..😃 Hailey Road must be around, never been there..😊 dogs, and even cows.. though the municipal authority is really working hard on making Delhi animal free..😆
Contrary to many websites, I never got too many stares for being a white girl in Delhi.

You are lucky to have married a guy who lives in Delhi..😆 Delhi, since it is the capital, is more advance than other cities of India, and ofcourse, cleaner too..😃 in other states like UP and Bihar and some more, people are really like that - you know, those see-a-foriegner-and-exploit-her types..
I've seen other white people around. However, ofcourse, when in those shopping places like Nehru Place or another such place which I forget ... the little street urchin or begger would surround be. hahaha, these street urchins very well understand us - who will give them something and who will not..😆

Thank you so much for all the news moon 😊. I couldn't respond earlier as you know, with a little baby it is sometimes like this, plus my husband was home for 2 days! He does business so when there is a holiday and when its time to work is very random 😆. When we are all at home, we dont even watch TV 😆.
But I miss the new songs and dances, the folk ones. If they show more such songs can you upload the youtube link please?
I don't watch the show now, still I can follow from here 😳, but I surely wish to see the songs 😉
