sorry but i agree and dis agree wht u ..

she should open her mouth and i knw she wll infrnt of G3 that to for duggu and as a mother ..

i dnt wnt her to open her mouth infrnt of dadaji n all ..my mom says suting ur mouth infrnt of elders is respecting thm ..believe me still many many bahu's all over india fallow this ..

tht never open thr mouth unless and untill thy r asked to open .

well i am not married but i have lived in both joint family and now in nuclear...i think akshara should stand up and by that i am not saying she should be rude to her elder but just tell them when they are wrong...she should tell them that she has every right to write a diary...also at the time nobody would let her do any work and she got bored so she started writing so her child could read it one day...and akshara was the patient with a new born baby...of course she wouldnt be able to see if all the stuff were in the bag...it should have been the family members responsibility to check up after her...

and she should also tell them that she is not responsible for the publishing...she didnt ask them to do it...it is not her fault...

and every time when g3 yells at her for not taking of baby...she should just say that she is a new mother and in the learning process and she is doing the best she can...she cant become super-mom in one day...and when g3 told her to stay for 2 days she should have said no i talked to natik and we decided that i will stay for a week since i didnt go to my maayka during pregnancy...

or when g3 told her that who will take care of the baby in her maayka..she should have said that people in there love him as much as g3 does and they will help her out...

there is no need for fights or being rude but she has to state her point instead of being quite all the time and soon g3 will get the point and shut up because right now akshara is enabling her behaviour...

disrespecting elders is when you are rude to them not when you are merely stating points...what is the point of respect that is not from your heart and you are only doing it for the sake of it and getting suffocated inside...some bahus may still keep quite but that is not right...we can talk to our elders nicely and gently too and explain things to them...
