This is the only serial that I am currently watching. A few fleeting catches of other prime time and apparently higher rated soaps invariably leaves me cold- nincompoopery at its 'competitive' best-can not last more then 10 minutes. That convince me that, in spite of lose of apex standing, this serial must have generated genuinely loyal viewership in comparison to other's 'steroid' induced spurt in TRPs (or even manipulated?!?). They are bound to fall miserably when the general disgust sets in. Here the leads are sincere and adorable; the support cast is competitive and tracks topical. But some departments could do with improvements. Some new addition like Sneha could have been better etched and her gullibility defined with better believability (mind you- the track is plausible and topical too). The portrayals of two mothers remain jarring and Mohit's spontaneous humour is missed. Three characters I wish to see more relevantly are Dadi, Vishambar and Bhabhima (but not over used). On a side note, they can come up with some fresh and better selected songs in stead of that over used- 'Jadu ye kya kar diya…' But I enjoy the judiciously used back ground score of Flute (the one played when some tender moments of a relationship is passing).
Hey Folks, thanks for joining this spontaneous clamor of appreciation for our common watch- a generally innocent, some times boring but mostly relevant and a truly honest serial.🥳
P.s. Can some one help putting the link to the scene mentioned in my third post in blue above here? Some one wanted to see the video but I don't know how to go about it.👍🏼
This is it!👍🏼 Much, much thanks Tasfeer. A friend was indulgingly laughing at my 'exuberant' praise in 'Blue'. While unable to find the link to that scene, which was imprinted in the memory with only one viewing, I was trying to enlist the help of 'development team' of the forum with that 'statutory stock' remark ( assuming, they go through the posts)!😊 Now I feel better equipped to counter the 'exuberance' charges.😆
Tasfeer, you have rewarded us with a beautifully handled resolution to the very first MU the newly wed had. In the first link, Akshara, her Dadi's true heiress, first extinguished/expunged the third party with dignified maturity but a firm politeness. Then she went on to straighten up the stupid obliquity of her husband-A bravo script and matching direction of the scene.⭐️👍🏼
The second link contains that beautiful interlude I mentioned. A young pensive groom and his fair fair sleeping bride. Exquisitely handled with no disturbance from spoken words and yet speaking volumes ably aided by the background score.👏 Happy to see the episode again… Thanks again.

It was a pleasure to go through your post. Tardiness in reply is unintentional, as the paucity of time permits restricted interaction.
Yes, the serial is not 'realistic'. Within the ambit of entertainment, it tackles its proclaimed theme with certain honesty. 👍🏼
Sneha is intentionally less glamorous though can't speak on Bidaai character. ( I used to see Pavitra Rishta😡, now intermittently only YRKKH with written updated here filling up the gapes.)
Nandini-Mohit is a mistake; better match would have been Rashmi-Mohit and still better- a mere friend with the original flair.😆
About Akshara's maturity, I've different perception. She is the product of Dadi's sensitive, compassionate and sound wisdom system and her mother's unstable, anxious and amateurish assumption of responsibilities. The former has stronger streak and it's clearly on the ascent over the later with the help of Naitik's stabilizing love just as Dadi herself is working untiringly on her insecure (why insecure?!) elder DIL😕. And in my opinion, Akshara's innate instinct is always standing her in good stead in the end. More so when in comparison with Naitik's adamant streak. But here, Charuji, I think we are representing two different camps. So let us indulge in harmless fun of debating friendly from two sides-Naitik v/s Akshara- but never forgetting to unite them in the end!😃
@ Manasi_31,
Engaging post, would like to reply as time permits…in the evening. Thanks.
