This house situation is an interesting one. In the first place Naitik had no right to take that money from Akshara even if he had the intention of replacing it. Naitik's immaturity and lack of care for all is the result of a pampered life. He has not learned that living in a family means that he has to care for everyone and taking from his sister's marriage budget even with the intention of replacing it is inappropriate. This has been the root cause of the current problem. His ego is all about Akshara not understanding him or his gesture of giving that gift. I doubt any self respecting wife would appreciate such a gift. Alas, Naitik doesnt have this type of self respect for himself.

Naitik has again demonstrated that he has not understood the role of a wife. He is insensitive to Akshara's multiple roles as a daughter, daughter-in-law, and wife. Again all of this is typical of a spoilt brat in a rich joint business family where the mother is only following things without really having a deep sense of appreciation for traditions. Traditions are not simply for following without understanding, and Gayatri has still not understood Daddaji even after staying in that household for so long. Clearly, Gayatri doesnt have a clean heart for she doesnt trust Akshara. She doesnt seem to have a mother's heart of love for Akshara. A mother who has understanding and love who can shape her children with thought and care like Akshara's Daadi is rare. Akshara's Daadi is a rare person and an appropriate role model.

But all of this is quite typical of large wealthy joint families in India. If one does not have people of differing personalities then there is no life! So it will work out in the long run somehow. This is the stuff of life.

Naitik does not deserve Akshara. I do hope they will part ways and she finds happiness. Nothing she ever does is appreciated. How can one be happy in a relationship like this? He is just a spoilt , selfish brat who only understands his point of view. Let him rot with this new girl. Only then will he and his family realise Akshara's worth. By then it will be too late. She should educate herself, bring up her child herself ( hope she is preg ) and be independant.

There are many in this forum who feel Naitik was slighted because his gift was not appreciated by Akshara.

In my point of view, in India, marriage means marrying the whole family and the girl makes a lot of adjustments and sacrifices to keep everyone happy. Most men are happy when their mother is kept happy by their wife. Especially in a joint family. I do find Naitik strange because in many ways he is very old fashioned except in his relationship with Akshara. He expects a western outlook.

He does not have the courage to stand up against his family and support Akshara in anything but expects it of her. She is not even being accepted as family.

When his marriage was fixed he should have told his family he wants to live alone with his wife then he can be the only one who is first and last and everything for her. She wont have a nagging, disgruntled mil to please all the time.

yes iagree too with you in the fourm many members blame akshara but she he had many relation to handel to it but naithik dont not understand her if naithik fall in love with that girl akshara maybe leave the house 😭

This girl is a joke i have nothin else to say about her lol, Naitik needs to get over his ego asap, Yes i agree u bought Akshara a gift, but due to your family acting all stroppy she made the right decision to tell you to sell the house, what is the point of acting stroppy wid Akshara, do it with your family.
