So I'm in Canada (where we are behind a bit) and yesterday I watched the scene where the family finds out about Nandini and Mohit and everyone is crying as if SOMEONE HAD DIED!
Nandini's mother was acting as if her daughter had run away or killed herself. Akshara, Rashmi, Gayatri were all over-reacting. The old man was just insane.
I think Naitik's father is the only sane person in that family.
Lastly, Naitik is a really bad husband. Sure, Akshara lied and hid this, but Naitik is just a mama's boy, tattle teller.
That is one messed up family.
