Creatives ruining the Characters. - Page 2

I couldnt agree more. The characters we loved are now so bland and boring..Dadi, who i loved is now crying and being frantic..She believed in honesty and nothing else. And yes varsha to, i figured she would stand up to rajshri..Akshara has shown a nice change in her relationship with her hubby, i love that.. Gayatri and bhabima have just turned into such mean ppl..Not understanding at all, judgemental, and more so they just dont care..

I hate how RS had stated that this show won't have any negative characters.... why is Gulabo evil then..?! 😕

Wow, I had not seen this topic before...I agree with all of you about the U-turn with virtually all the female characters...its like they change their beliefs and attitudes with the seasons.

Daddi's character change was the most dramatic for me...how did a level-headed lady become irrational and weak?..As Shanta mentioned, this revelation about her and her demands with kaki was the most unbelievable turn in YR...I also never agreed with her on the whole khamoshi ki bhasha...what kind of message is that for a sheltered 20 year old about to be married?

I am also stumped at why Varsha hasn't started college yet? She did so well in her exams and then the baby drama happened. Now both college and baby are on the back burner, and she doesn't care about either? ( I don't think she should have a baby now, so that part is ok for me!) Surely, college is in progress, festivals or no festivals...instead, the drama is about who is staying at whose house and about khana-banana and doctor's visits.

For me it seems Rajshri has become stronger post her breakdown and illness...she has become authoritative, from her handling of Varsha to her handling of kaka-kaki...the old Rajshri would have cried buckets and had another health concern...I was surprised to see her hold her own.

I loved G ma in the beginning and even until the wedding...I liked that she took risks for Naksh in the beginning, so that they could meet. Now we see a side of her that is quite interesting to say the least. It is quite obvious she relishes playing the mother-in-law, not the mother to Akshara. There is a big distinction as we know between the two...beta suddenly becomes bahu in no time. It also goes to show that G ma was always the bahu, never the sister-in-law to B ma. This is another important distinction. G ma's insecurities are evident every time she still asks B ma for advice and for her approval.

B ma is a typical conservative woman who only does what the men (=DJ/and Naitik in the beginning) in the family want. She does not see beyond that and her kitchen...I don't think she has changed all that much.

Akshara to me is a revelation...she has changed, but for the better...when was the last time we saw her cry in recent weeks without there being a big reason for it? When was the last time she said "aap kyon nahi samjte" to Naitik? After SMP1, it has stopped...this is the beginning of her growth into a married woman. And I love it. She has acted maturely throughout even when she was upset (kaka-kaki situation) and thats not a small feat given how ridiculous the Singhanias are! She understands now that her husband will always be there for her, and loves her unconditionally and she the same. The reason for her to be in that mental asylum is only him, and nothing else...I want this growth to continue...and if we ever get to see her go to college and be more assertive that would be the icing on the cake...😃

YRKKH will lose it's charm if Creatives don't pay attention to what we all here are pinpointing. Almost every character except Nandini & Rashmi. is losing its authenticity.

Shanta, i couldn't find tht thread where u posted something abt Gayitri...that females who have a disturbed life as a DIL becomes a saas like Gayitri...u know Gayitri doesn't have ANY reason to get upset on Akshara..as a bahu, she lead a good life (until n unless she had some hidden desires like watching movies & going to maayka more frequently which was forbidden for her), she adjusted well in a joint family , she knows how a newly wedded feels and what all adjustments had to be made..forget her as a bahu ! as a mom to Naitik and Rashmi, she gave both of them right amount of freedom ..didn't naitik watch movies, and rashmi? rashmi goes to college, socializes etc. etc. and same with naitik...basically she was the bridge b/w the new and the old generation..the lady who left no stone unturned to keep her son happy , now she doesn't like to see them happy as a couple??? all she wanted is naitik's happiness so what happened to her now that he's happy with Akshara? where did her trust on naitik vanish? what makes her believe that he's blinded in akshara's love??

okay fine she wants akshara to follow all customs of the Singhania family but SOMETIMES she can also relax her rules (like she did before Naitik's marriage)...this was a good opportunity for the creatives to show some good moments b/w saas bahu..at least for somedays they cud have acted normal with each other.....

..i had once read somewhere that m-i-ls, who themselves have had a very , very bad marriage...OR who have had very bad relations with their senior in-laws.........OR have had a very very tough financial background........

....these m-i-ls tend to cling on to their sons as "life supporting ventilators"......treat their d-i-ls as unnecessary, unwanted outsiders in the house....but necessary as "breeding horses"......n of course as "unpaid servants"......

BUT G3'S BEHAVIOUR WITH AKSHI....IS.......WAYYYYYYYYY OUT OF LINE........
major goof-up by the CVs......
