Looks like there are no door-closers installed on doors in both Maheshwari and Singhania households (& prolly no ACs also, attached bathrooms are obviously not there).

Or, seriously door-closing has gone out of fashion for newly weds - both Naksh and Shava go all romantic and naughty in full view. Quite an open society or what....?????

though for going out for a movie they beat so much around the bush.

Waise Singhania mansion aur Maheshwari land mein door closers lagane ka rivaj nahi hai.

Yeh unke reeti-rivajo ke khilaf hai.
