Naitik created thse problems for her as well to, dont forget that, he created them and he solved them...lol
Are we forgetting..Akshara left her family for Naitik..she has to change her entire way of living because of her in laws..
There is the getting up early everyday to do poojas, the pallu on her head and living in a totally new place....
I totally agree with the above two comments.
I think the only similarity between the 2 families are their financial status. They are certainly not like minded. Akshara's family is more polished, open minded and they "practise what they preach" and Naitik's family has a serious ego problem, they are very stubborn,bad tempered/ impolite with moods, close minded and donot practise what they preach. Everything has to be only their way- all these attitudes are reflected on Naitik. He is happy with Akshara, as long as she follows his family rules (whether it is right/wrong) and doesnt expect to see her own individuality or identity.
Akshara is used to believe/ trust seniors advise and comments. She whole heartedly wants to be in excellent relationship with her mother-in-law (that is what she has seen in her own house) and wants to make the foundation based on trust. Accordingly when Bhabi Ma and the rest pressed her to fullfill Gayatri's wishes infront of the religious ceremony - she was very honest and confessed (how could she lie in a religious ceremony?). It was for the matured ladies of the house to applaud her for her honesty and realise what a gem of a bride they have got. But on the contrary everyone turned their back on her (all the ladies), and ofcourse the less matured Naitik who still has a long way to realise what a gem of a bride he has been blessed with!
It was so... unfortunate/ cruel, that after a full day of fasting a tray of food was send to their room, and they went off to sleep hungry.
These kind of irresponsible attitudes, false pride, close/ narrow mind and failing to realise the exceptional qualities of the new bride amongst the in-laws in a joined/ extended family has resulted in the birth of nuclear families.
It looks Gayatri will continue to be over possessive with the son, and does not have the IQ to understand Akshara's worth (Akshara doesnt care for the loads of gift Gayatri gives, she only cares for Gayatri's love, trust and respect). Gayatri and the in-laws such inconsistent behavior may put Akshara in a depression where she will loose her self confidence , or just the opposite may happen - she will become too aggressive and will try to put them in the right place.
Let's hope that Akshara's in-laws learns to be 'Larger than their Hearts' from Akshara's Daadi - the present society needs to hear some of these positive messages. I also watch Star Jalsha 'Ogo Bodhu Sundhori' where the creatives are doing a wonderful work of showing how a large heart amongst the in-laws (always willing to forgive) transforms and tames a spoiled girl to a better human being. I pray that Akshara and her Daadi can do such a transformation with her in-laws.
