UPDATE
The episode starts with Gayatri telling Naitik that a bahu goes to her maayka for her first teej. Gayatri tells Naitik to let her go. Naitik argues. Gayatri tells Naitik that she promised Rajshri. Naitik says its only been 2 days since the bidaai. Gayatri tells Naitik that she won't say no to Akshara, what if she wants to go? Naitik looks at Akshara. Naitik says "fine if you care about your bahu so much" Gayatri laughs and leaves. Akshara is listening. Naitik says "if only you worried about your son too" Akshara smiles to herself. Naitik leaves.
At the Maheshwari house everyone is getting everything ready, telling each other what to do and whats done. Shankri tai comes. Shankri comes and sits down. Daadi says that she's glad that Shankri came. Gopi calls Dhaniya to get Shankri some sweets. Shankri asks if Akshara's here yet. Rajshri says that she will be here soon. Rajshri tells Shankri that Varsha is going to be here for teej as well. Dhaniya comes with sweets and leaves again. Everyone is excited. Daadi says that Shaurya went to get Akshara.Rajshri looks towards the door waiting.
Shaurya arrives to Singhania house. Nandini and Rashmi greet him. Shaurya sits down with them. Nandini says that Akshara's been waiting for him. Shaurya says that everyone is waiting for her at home. Nandini tells Rashmi to go call her. Rashmi goes. Gayatri comes. Shaurya takes Gayatri's blessings. Rashmi goes upstairs and tells Akshara that Shaurya's here. Akshara happily goes downstairs practically running. Naitik looks sad. Rashmi tells Naitik to come as well.
Akshara runs to Shaurya and hugs him. They ask each other how they are. Naitik comes. Naitik and Shaurya hug. Gayatri tells Shaurya that he has to have sweets. They all sit down. Gayatri goes with Rashmi to get sweets. Gulabo says that this is the first teej that bhabhi ma isn't here. Shaurya asks where bhabhi ma went. Naitik tells him they went to Baridnath. Gulabo says that only Gayatri here. The only married ones are bhabhi and Gayatri. Akshara frowns. Naitik sees this. Shaurya lightens up the mood saying that her doesn't know anything about traditions but his mom knows everything. Shaurya says that Varsha is waiting too. Akshara asks about Varsha. Shaurya says that Rajshri was sad so Varsha stayed. Gayatri comes back with the stuff. Akshara says "ma, I won't go" Gayatri looks shocked. Naitik looks happy. Shaurya looks sad. Akshara says that she doesn't want to leave Gayatri alone on a special occasion. Gayatri tells Akshara not to worry, her mom is probably waiting. Akshara says "but you are my mom too" Everyone smile. Gayatri says that this is a reet. Akshara smiles and says that Daadi says that you should follow reet but by keeping other's hearts, and her mom says the same. Shaurya smiles. Akshara says that her mom has everyone but Gayatri is alone. Akshara says she doesn't want to leave her alone, they will celebrate teej together. Akshara asks Shaurya. Shaurya nods smiling. Akshara tells Shaurya smiling "tell mom that if her bahu can take care of her then her daughter will take care of her mother-in-law as well" Gayatri smiles tearfully. Akshara looks at Naitik who's smiling. Akshara says "Ma will be loney with bhabhi ma not here, I can't celebrate happily knowing that" Shaurya smiles and tells Akshara that she can do what she thinks is right. Maharaj ji says that their bahurani is very smart. Gayatri asks Akshara if she will really stay. Akshara says yes. Gayatri and Akshara hug. Akshara tells Shaurya to forgive her. Shaurya shakes his head and says that she's really proud of her sister. Gayatri is happy. Gayatri tells Rashmi to get ready, she will dress her bahu like a bride. Akshara looks at Naitik who is smiling happily.
BREAK
The Maheshwari house is all decorated. Daadi, Rajshri and Choti ma smile looking around. Shankri tai and Gopi daadi are talking about vraats for a boy. Gopi daadi gets serious. [missed a part of the emotional convo] Daadi has tears in her eyes. Dhaniya comes and looks at Gopi daadi's mehendi happily. Rajshri asks about Varsha. Dhaniya says that Varsha's getting ready. Shankri tells Dhaniya to put on mehendi as well. They hear a car. Shaurya's here. Rajshri, Daadi and Choti ma go to the door. Rajshri look around and asks "Akshara?" Shaurya says that she didn't come. Rajshri thinks he's joking and asks again. Shaurya says that she really didn't come. Rajshri's face falls. Choti ma asks why. Shaurya says that she wanted to celebrate it at her sasural. Rajshri says that she talked to them. Shaurya says that when he got there, Akshara told him she changed her mind. Rajshri looks upset.

Daadi asks why? Rajshri looks worried. Rajshri asks if they stopped her and if everything's okay. Shaurya shakes her head. Rajshri has tears in her eyes. She asks why Akshara didn't come. Shaurya says that theres no tension, Akshara is really happy, everyone loves her. Her Sasuma got everything ready too. Choti ma asks then what happened. Shaurya tells them that Bhabhi ma and Dadaji went to Badrinath and so Gayatri was alone so Akshara didn't feel right. Rajshri is upset. She leaves.
Akshara is on the phone with Shaurya. Akshara tells Shaurya that she wants to talk to her mom. Shaurya says that he just told Rajshri and she's upset. Akshara asks if her mom is there. Shaurya says that she went upstairs. Naitik is listening. He frowns. Akshara tells Shaurya that she feels really bad. Shaurya says that their mom was really excited that she was coming and she didn't come thats why she felt bad. Akshara tells Shaurya to explain to Rajshri that its not like she didn't want to go, but... Shaurya tells Akshara she told Rajshri the reason. He tells her not to worry. Akshara has tears in her eyes, she tells Shaurya to tell their mom that she loves her a lot. Shaurya tells Akshara not to worry, Daadi went upstairs to talk to her. Akshara puts down the phone. Akshara is crying. Naitik comes up to her and touches her shoulder. Akshara tries to smile.

Gayatri asks Akshara where her engagement ring is. Naitik hears this and looks worried. Akshara looks at Naitik.
