this is not the way mom in law is addressed in indian culture.every girl has a mother and a mother in law.nobody addreses their mother in law by their names.........we dont use thier names before saying ma.ask any married lady in ur family.nobody addresses their mother in law like this.akshara should have said mummy ji instead of gayatri ma.
actually when she talks to gayathri she calls her 'maa'...and since she calls her own mother 'maa' also ...
only when talkin 2 other ppl she says gathri maa to avoid confusion...
