Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai Update
For 19rd March 2009 (Episode 49)
Today
Badi explains to Varsha that she is very auspicious for the house and since she has came only good things have happened. She tells Varsha to stay happy forever. Varsha walks over too Akshara and tells her that everyone is soo happy that she is getting married and they have already began to make plans and all that is left is to call the pundit ji to set a date. Akshara looks worried. Varsha asks her why she looks upset. Akshara explains that everything is happening so fast. Varsha reminds her that she has agreed to the wedding and that she likes Naitik. Akshara explains that she is worried because she agreed to marry Rituraj and that alliance broke. She goes on to tell her that she is worried it will happen again. Varsha suggests that she should leave it all to destiny. Akshara agree and then questions her destiny. Varsha replies Naitik. She suggests that maybe Naitik is doing the same.
At Naitik's house; everyone is sitting around the table eating dinner. Raj tells Naitik its about time he joined the business now that his alliance is fixed and has finished his studied. Naitik asks for some time to think. Datta Ji confused replies that he doesn't understand why he needs time to think. Raj and Datta laugh. Reshmi to Naitik replies that she knows that he is worried about how he will meet Akshara. She asks him whether he wants to meet Akshara. Naitik suggests that Reshmi has gone mad. Reshmi asks him whether there will be any romance. Naitik replies No. Reshmi openly says that boys aren't romantic. Bhabhi Maa and Gayatri smiles at them. Gayatri replies Reshmi is wrong and she should look at Naitik as an example. She explains that he is lost in his thoughts that he doesn't know what to eat. Naitik starts to eat a Kerala. Gayatri replies that your brother would never eat a kerala. Naitik replies that it was cooked well today. Everyone laughs.
At Akshara's house; everyone is also around the table eating dinner. Badi asks Choti the whereabouts of Anshuman. Choti replies that he has eaten and fallen asleep as he is going to school. Vish tells Omi that him and Shaurya need to look after the office as he has to make plans. Shaurya asks whether any dates have been set. Vish explains that they are currently talking about the Roka. Choti asks Dadi whether she is going to Jaipur before Akshara's wedding. Dadi agrees that she is and asks whether Badi and Choti are still coming with her. Badi tells Dadi that she can't go as she has alot of work to do. Badi suggests that she will take Akshara shopping. Vish reminds her that Akshara and Varsha are going back to college. Badi excusses Akshara and Varsha from the table. Badi ask Vish why he is sending Akshara to college eventhough she is getting married. Vish says that there is nothing wrong with them going back. Dadi agrees. Badi suggests that Naitik's family might not like it. Omi tells her to stop worrying as they know she attends college and they haven't stopped Varsha. Badi replies that she feels that she should asks Naitik's family if its ok first as she is soon to become there Bahu. Vish whom looks annoyed replies that she is there soon to be Bahu and that they haven't got engaged therefore he will decide what's best for Akshara. Akshara and Varsha retun to the table.
In the morning; Varsha and Akshara are walking around the college. Varsha asks Akshara why everyone is looking at them. Akshara replies that they are looking at her as she has returned after soo many days dressed in a Sari. A group of friends run over to Akshara and Varsha. They all tell Varsha she looks pretty and they ask why they weren't invited to the wedding and laugh at the fact that they heard she married Shaurya. They all ask her about her married life. Akshara tells the girls that there is a question that she has been wanting to ask but hasn't. Akshara very cheekily asks why Varsha face has a glow. Two smaller girls walk past the gang and think Varsha is a teacher so they same good morning to her. The girls laugh at the fact that they are juniors. Varsha walks over to a group of juniors ans ask them why they are sitting. Varsha teases them about bunking. Varsha tells them to leave and starts laughing. All the girls laugh too until a real teacher appears and asks why they are making so much noisy and why they haven't gone to there classes. The teacher asks Akshara and Varsha why they weren't at school. Varsha replies that she got married. The teacher tells them that there a priminary exams and then some will be entered for the real exam. She tells Akshara to go to class as she is a weak student and needs to study.
The teacher walks off. They laugh at the way the teacher was. Akshara explains to Varsha that things have changed since she has got married and asks her whether she has to change aswel. Varsha tells her that they will see to that when it happens and now they should bunk the lesson and eat in the canteen. All the girls leave.
Break
Natik sits at his computer typing. Mohit asks Naitik why he is applying for a job when he knows they won't let him. Naitik explains that Datta Ji has been waiting for ages for Naitik to take his position in the family business. Mohit asks him what he wants to do. Naitik replies that he doesn't know what he wants to do with the rest of his life and he knows that he doesn't want to join the business. Mohit asks whether Raj and Datta will let him. Naitik replies that he has no choice after all he is the only son. Mohit laughs at the fact that the whole family has spoilt him and asks what is wrong listening to them after all they did find him Akshara. Mohit reminds Naitik that he hasn't shown him a picture of her and asks whether he looks bad. Naitik tells him that she is pretty. Mohit laughs and asks is that why he has hidden her. Naitik replies that he will introduce her to him today and tells him to invite Rishi. Mohit laughs at the fact he will be unable to meet Akshara. Reshmi arrives with coffe.
Reshmi tells them she can't. Mohit tells her that all she will have to do is read the script. He dials the number and hands the phone to Reshmi. Badi answers the phone. Reshmi tells Badi that she is Bhavana one of Akshara's friends. Badi tells her that she doesn't know a Bhavana.
Break
Reshmi replies that she is a new friend and she has only joint this year. Badi tells her to talk. Reshmi asks her whether she can speak to Akshara. Badi confused asks her whether she didn't meet Akshara there. Reshmi tells her that she is at home and she will meet Akshara at college. Naitik asks what college. Reshmi asks what college. Badi confused replies that she had just said that she studies at that college. Reshmi puts down the phone. Reshmi tells Naitik that she will neve do that again and now he knows that they go tp the same college. Naitik grins and tells her that they still nedd her help.
In Badi's Room; Choti and Badi are sitting on the bed looking at Sari's. Badi asks whether the colour will suit Akshara. Choti agrees and tells her that it really suits Akshara. Badi laughs and explains that whenever that when ever that she brought a sari she thought of Akshara and therefore brought he one too. Choti explains that when her father had brought he gold earings from Lucknow and Akshara really liked them when she was little and that is why she has kept them for her. Choti can't believe the fact that Akshara has become so big so quickly. Badi explains that it feels like yesterday when her parents had the same conversation and now she understands how parents have to give away there daughters. Choti asks how Vish will cope without Akshara. Badi explains that he worries if she is out of her sight and that its like his world has crumbled.
