At their home, Srikanth and Karthik discuss about the future of Reddy Corporation and think about everything that Siddhant said. Their personal feeling towards their father apart, they agree with Siddhant that Reddy Corporation belonged to honest and hardworking people as well. They come to the decision and decide to talk to Anushka before announcing anything.
Anushka, on the other hand, keeps reliving the moments when she came face-to-face with her father's reality and his death. Her mind knows that he got what he deserved but her heart still aches for her father. Seeing her restless, Siddhant sits up on the bed and rests his hand on her head. She turns towards him and sees him trying to comfort her. She gets up and rests her head on his lap and falls asleep holding his hand. He looks at her for a long moment before falling asleep.
The next morning, Anushka wakes up first and sees Siddhant sleeping sitting up. She is touched yet again knowing that he stayed up all night because she couldn't sleep. She gently takes his head in her hands and makes him lie down as she put his head on the pillow. She pulls the blanket over him and gets out of bed to get ready.
She goes downstairs and sees Gayatri and Purva already up and preparing for breakfast. Gayatri asks her to sit and eat. Soon Siddhant joins them, too. After breakfast Anushka and Gayatri start cleaning up. Purva and Siddhant start to go get ready when they hear a car pull up. Siddhant looks outside as Srikanth and Karthik enter. Anushka sees them to and goes to hug them.
"Aree aap dono yaha? Achha kiya. Aao naashta kar lo." Asks Gayatri.
Srikanth replies, "Nahi aunty, hum naashta kar ke aaye."
"Aaise kaise? Hum chaay banate hai." Gayatri says and goes in the kitchen.
Srikanth looks at Anushka and asks, "Kaisi ho?"
"Theek hu." She replies with a small smile.
Srikanth looks at Siddhant and says, "Hum tum dono se kuch baat karna chahte hai. Reddy Corporation ke baare mein."
Siddhant nods but Anushka's smile vanishes as she gets tensed.
They sit, and Srikanth says, "Siddhant hum tumhaari baat se agree karte hai. Reddy Corporation mein honest aur hardworking log bhi hai. Humein unke baare mein bhi sochana hoga. Issi liye humne decide kiya hai k hum Reddy Corporation ko aage badhaaenge."
Even though Anushka expected this, she feels uneasy. Logically it all makes sense to her but her heart doesn't agree with being part of the corporation after everything that happened.
Karthik looks at her and says, "Anu, mujhe pata hai tu kya soch rahi hai. Kal tak humein bhi yahi lagta tha ke Appa ne innocent logo ke khoon se banaya hai Reddy Corporation. But fir humne realize kiya ke Appa ke crimes ke liye Reddy Corporation ka har ek employee responsible nahi hai. Hum responsible nahi hai. Anna ne financial sector ko strong banane mein aur tune pura HR streamline karne mein kitani mehnat ki hai. Aur fir agar hum corporation bandh kar denge toh kitane logo ki jobs chali jaaegi. Hum aise sabko Appa ke crimes ki saza nahi de sakte."
Anushka replies, "Jaanti hu Karthik. Lekin.."
"Lekin kuch nahi Anu. Appa ki galtio ke liye mein tujhe, Karthik, Ma, ya Riddhi ko saza nahi bhugatne dunga. Dhoka humaare saath bhi hua hai. Victims toh hum bhi hai." Srikanth says.
Anushka looks at Siddhant with dismay. Siddhant holds her hand and says, "Anushka koi zabardasti nahi hai. Agar tum Reddy Corporation se koi connection nahi rakhna chahti toh koi problem nahi hai. We will be fine."
"Ha Anu. Hum tujhe force nahi karenge. Hum koi bhi decision lene se pehle bas tujhse baat karna chahte the." Srikanth adds.
Anushka looks at her family and feels relieved. She says, "Thank you Anna. Aur mein aap sab ki baat se agree karti hu. Aapko Reddy Corporartion ko sahi tareeke se aage badhana chahiye aur ek reformed Reddy Corporation ko duniya ke saamne laana chahiye."
Srikanth and Karthik smile at her. Srikanth looks at Siddhant and says, "Aur iss ke liye humein tumhaari zaroorat padegi Siddhant. Yeh sab kehne mein jitana aasaan hai, karne mein utana hi mushkil hoga. Issi liye hum chahte hai k tum apni purani position.."
He pauses and looks at Prabhakar's picture and says, "Prabhakar uncle ki position accept kar lo."
Just then Gayatri comes with tea for everyone and Purva serves them. She gives an assuring smile to Karthik and he smiles back.
Gayatri looks at Siddhant and says, "Siddhant, tumhe ye offer le lena chahiye. Aur fir ab toh hum ek parivaar hai. Srikanth aur Karthik ko aaj tumhaare saath ki bohot zaroorat hai."
Siddhant replies, "Jaante hai Ma. Aur issiliye hum yeh position accept nahi kar sakte."
Seeing them all confused, Siddhant chuckles and says, "Aree bhai, agar hum apne saalo se salary lenge aur kahi humaare biwi naraaz ho gai toh?"
With that they all laugh, and the tension eases a bit.
Srikanth says, "Siddhant seriously, we need you."
"And I am right here. Bas hum Reddy Corporation mein job nahi le sakte." Replies Siddhant.
Srikanthi is about to protest when Siddhant cuts him off and says, "Dekhiye Sirkanth, humne abhi abhi apni practice shuru ki hai. Clients bhi badh rahe hai. Hum unhe aise beech mein nahi chod sakte. Aur waise bhi, hum toh ghar ke hi hai. Koi bhi problem ho toh aap bas call kar dijiyega."
Karthik chuckles and says, "Tum humse salary nahi le sakte lekin humse fees le sakte ho! Anu, humein family discount dila dena yaar!"
And they all laugh again.
Srikanth says, "Okay Siddhant, agar tum nahi karna chahte toh koi baat nahi. Lekin yaad rakhna Jijaji, aadhi raat ko bhi call karenge agar koi problem hui toh."
Siddhant instantly replies, "Bilkul saale sahab. Bas dekhna k aapki behen ki neend kharab na ho. Warna aapk kya hai, pitenge toh hum!"
Anushka pokes him and they laugh again.
Srikanth and Karthik get up to leave. Srikanth says, "Achha aunty, chalte hai." And takes her blessings.
Gayatri blesses him and says, "Sab accha hoga bete. Himmat se aage badhna. Aur Neetaji ka khayal rakhna."
Srikanth says, "Ji!" and they leave.
Gayatri goes back to the kitchen and Purva goes to her room.
Anushka is about to go to the kitchen as well when Siddhant holds her hand and stops her.
He holds her face and asks, "Tum theek ho na?"
She takes his hand and says, "Tum ho na mere saath! Toh mein bilkul theek hu."
Siddhant senses the sadness behind her smile but decides to give her some space and goes back upstairs to get ready for office.

After taking care of the kitchen, Gayatri leaves for mandir and asks Purva to drop her off on her way to college. Siddhant comes downstairs and sees Anushka sitting on the swing lost in her thoughts. He knows that Anushka is troubled by everything that happened with her Appa, and yet he feels helpless. He goes and sits next to her and puts a hand on her shoulder.
She gets startled as if waking up from a dream and asks, "Tum? Tum yaha kya kar rahe ho? Office nahi jaana? Aaj toh late bhi ho gaya hai."
She starts getting up but Siddhant holds her hand and stops her. He looks into her eyes and asks, "Humne nahi socha tha ke ek aisa waqt bhi aaega jab tum humse apne dil ki baatein chupaaogi."
"Mein tumse kyun kuch chupaaongi Siddhant? Tumhe toh sab pata hai."
Anushka replies and then with a playful tone in her voice she adds, "Aur agar kuch nahi bhi pata hai toh tum puch bhi toh sakte ho. Ab mein kya bhagwaan hu jo mujhe pata chal jaaega ke humaare Miyaji kya jaan na chahte hai?"
"Accha? Toh theek hai puch lete hai! Apni takleef kyu chupa rahi ho humse?" Asks Siddhant.
Anushka gets conscious for a bit and forces herself to look normal without realizing that Siddhant noticed it all.
Anushka replies, "Takleef? Mujhe kis baat ki takleef hogi? Tum, Ma, aur Purva mujhse itana pyaar karte ho. Mujhe itani khushi se rakhte ho toh fir mujhe kis baat ki takleef?"
Siddhant asks, "Toh tumhaari smile mein kami kyun hai? Tumhaari aankhein toh kuch aur hi kehti hai!"
Anushka pretends to get annoyed and says, "Oh God Siddhant! Tum lawyer ho toh har baat pe argument karoge kya? Yeh koi court nahi hai. Yeh ghar hai aur yaha ki Judge mein hu. And my court is adjourned for the day! Chalo tum office jao. Already bohot late ho."
She gets up and pulls Siddhant on his feet.
Siddhant, holding her hands, says, "Okay. Fine. Tum nahi batana chahti toh koi baat nahi but hum tumhe acche se jaante hai. Par shaayad tum humein acche se nahi jaan paayi. Issiliye humse baatein chupaane ki koshish kar rahi ho itane dino se."
Anushka senses that he is upset and says, "Nahi Siddhant aisa kuch nahi hai. Tum.."
"Shaam ko milte hai." He says and leaves.
Anushka looks on for a long moment before going inside. She closes her door behind her and walks up to Prabhakar's picture.
She looks down, folds her hands, and breaks down. She cries her heart out and says, "Sorry! I am really sorry! She drops to the floor and says, "Please mujhe maaf kar dijiye. Aap mere saamne.. aur mein kuch nahi kar paayi.. I am really sorry."
"Sorry for what?" Comes a voice that she knew very dearly in her heart.
She looks behind her and sees the man who had been her guide, philosopher, and a friend all her life. She gets up and walks towards him. As she looks into his eyes, he smiles at her and opens his arms. She steps into the embrace of a man who was her second father, her Prabhakar uncle, and cries.
He gently caresses her hair and says, "Anushka, sorry for what? Kis baat ki maafi maang rahi ho?"
She looks up and says, "Appa ne aapko.. Aap mere saamne, mere Appa ki wajah se, itani takleef se guzar rahe the aur mein kuch dekh nahi paai. Maine Siddhant pe aur Ma pe bhi bharosa nahi kiya. Woh kehte rahe par maine unki ek nahi suni. Please.. please mujhe maaf kar dijiye." And she hugs him and cries again.
He holds her for a long moment and then says, "Humne tumhe sabse pehli baat kya sikhaayi thi yaad hai?"
She looks up and says, "Sau gunehgaar bhale hi chhut jaaye lekin ek begunah ko saza nahi milani chahiye."
He says, "Seekh yaad hai toh uska amal karna kaise bhool gai?"
Seeing Anushka confused he smiles a little and adds, "KK ke gunaaho ke liye tum Siddhant ko saza dogi?"
"Nahi uncle.. mein..!" Anushka stammers.
"Tum takleef mein ho kyun ki tumhe apne Appa ki galtiyon ka guilt hai. Tum Siddhant se, Gayatri se, nazar ne mila paati. Unse apni takleef chupati ho kyun ki tumhe lagta hai ki unhone tumpe koi ehsaan kiya hai tumhe apna bana ke. Hai na?"
Anushka is taken aback by the straight talk!
Prabhakar continues, "Tumhe kya lagta hai? Siddhant ko nahi dikhai de raha ke tum uske saamne theek hone ka naatak kar rahi ho? Usse nahi hai ehsaas tumhaari takleef ka? Tumhe pata hai ki usse kitana bura lagta hai yeh soch kar ke woh tumhaari takleef kam nahi kar pa raha?"
Anuska says, "Uncle mein.."
"KK ke karmo ka bojh tumhe apne kandho par uthaane ki koi zaroorat nahi hai Anushka. Uske karm, ache ya bure jo bhi the, uske saath hi chale gaye. Tum aage dekho beta. Siddhant ne bohot kuch seh kar tumhe paaya hai, ab tum, anjaane mein hi sahi lekin, khud ko uss se dur karogi toh woh kaise rahega tumhaare bina?" Says Prabhakar.
Anushka remembers her moments with Siddhant after their marriage and how he tried his best to make her happy regardless of the circumstances.
"Itani mushkil se hum ek hue hai. Ab hum tumhaare bina reh hi nahi paaenge." He had said.
Thinking of all this makes her realize her mistake and she says, "Aap sahi keh rahe hai uncle. Siddhant mujhse itana pyaar karta hai aur mein khud mein ulajh ke reh gai! Lekin aap chinta.." and turns around to find herself alone in the living room.
She looks at Prabhakar's picture and wipes her tears. She smiles and says, "Aap na hokar bhi humaare saath hai na? Aap hume dekh rahe hai. Mein aapse waada karti hu ke ab sirf aage dekhungi. Humaare aaj aur aanewale kal pe beete kal ka saaya nahi padne dungi. Ab se mein aur Siddhant bas khush rahenge! Bas aap humaare saath rehna!"
