ok coming to the point. my answer is the most boring one 😆

i came across this show is actually a chain reaction...i used to watch KBC and then yeh un dino started and aired right after kbc so got hooked to it. then yeh pyaar nahi toh kya hai aired aftr un dino and i got hooked to that too.

infact even my dad was hooked to it inspite of being an early sleeper.

Hey Harshi, lovely topic. I saw the poolside meet caps tweeted on my timeline, and praise for the title track. Saw the episode and fell for it, hook, line and sinker! Shayari, dialogues, amazing actors as parents, so much to like.

I was randomly watching Drug case Episode and two - three times saw Promo "YE JAAN SIRF TUMHRI APNI HAI KYA" I decided to give it go so downloaded app and watched all the episodes 😆

Also the Title song is really lovely so I would like to give some credit to Title song as well

Miss you my friend! 😳 Actually I miss everyone, keeping so busy, don't get time to visit here at all. Yesterday toh I even missed the episode 😆

But anyways, I so agree with you, this show is best! <3 I wish people knew about it, they needed loads of love. Such simplistic writing and a vivid approach to storytelling 👏

Realism - check

I have never seen a show from which I have expected things so much! It has always surprised us and even if it does something good, we find it mediocre, it'll be hard to love a show now with the standards we have in mind! 😆

Back with a bang and with such a topical and interesting thread to put us in reminiscence mode.

I think YPNTKH and me were destined to happen because I am not a Hindi serials fan or any series for that matter and had never managed to keep my interest alive even when I did start watching anything nor have I ever watched anything from day 1 or had the interest or motivation to binge watch missed episodes. The only shows i had watched on my laptop because a colleague recommended them to me and she knows me very well were Pakistani serials Humsafar and Zindagi Gulzar hai. And I had never heard of Dilip Jha or EKDV or the PH.

So it was sheer destiny, the TV was on and I did some channel switching and bingo YPNTKH happened just like that out of the blue and that too it was episode 1. I got hooked on right from the first shot of Sid with toothpaste helping the spider out and his dialogue. And the way the characters were gradually introduced each one seemingly well etched and the whole thing clothed in such a natural way, the literary quotes, the hum, the most believable Sinhas and their house. And since then I have watched each and every episode in real time. And caught the reruns.

Namit Khanna and his looks and his voice just floored me. Anuraag Arora, Alka Amin, all of them. It took me a while to relate to Palak as I thought she was not performing as effortlessly as the others initially.

IF happened because I loved the show so much and wanted to see if there were others too who felt the same way as I did.

And the rest is history Harshi.

Now you guys are my family.

Ohh btw how I came across! I have been an avid SonyTv follower since so long I can't remember! I guess my first show on Sony was Saas Bina Sasural which came way back 😆

Since then I am in love with Sony. They don't treat their shows well, but I can't stay away from Sony because it has exquisite content! They make path-breaking shows, as much as we crib about the duration of the shows 😛

So one day while surfing youtube , in my recommendations I got the promo of this new show starting on Sony. The name itself was enough for me, I dig for love, Pyaar! Hayee

I saw the 2-3 promos it had posted and apart from the story or anything, the damn song, it stuck with me so bad! I read it starts on 19th March. I was like bas ye toh dekhna hai! I have to see it and that was how my journey started 😳
