Feel like this epi started off with a bang and then kinda got a bit sedate by the end😆...that said, there was still plenty to enjoy...

1) My current fav. bromance kicked into another high gear with Sid and Sweety ji getting some QUALITY time together today😆😆...how adorable were those hugs in the beginning...haha Sid again ribbing on Sweety Ji ki kasmein na khilaao, PARATHE khilaa do...and off these two go on a little dhaaba hopping road trip😆😆

2) Finally someone used their brains and picked up on the undercurrents b/w Sid and Anushka...kudos Sweety ji...lol Sid was all affable joking about such a romantic atmosphere with bonfire and a starry night going to waste cuz of him hanging out with SJ but he totally switched gears and sobered down into denial mode to deny any such possibility with Anushka...Sweety ji didn't look very convinced though...lol

3) On the other end, our heroine's tender hearted nature was again revealed today with a FB for context...she can't see ppl in pain...Sid laughs this off in the FB also, telling her to toughen up and not be a rich pampered princess in a sense...but present day Sid laments that Anushka couldn't even check up on him as friends, didn't wonder where he was...little did he know that Anushka was busy googling the side effects of a drug overdose, worrying herself to death and trying to call him all night...but he didn't pick up😆

I absolutely loved the juxtaposition of an emotional Anushka with a brooding Sid...what an apt song choice in the bg for this scene too..."Piya pardesiya, pher liya mukh, naina ladaa ke"

4) Sid's bitterness was again reinforced in his convo with Sweety ji where he felt that only he ever nibhaaoed that friendship and Anu was embarrassed by him...deffo some MU at play, that both of them didn't bother clearing up for some reason...I wonder why Sweety ji didn't tell him about Anushka calling for him when they were in the ambulance...hmmm

5) Poor Anu even landed up at the Sinhas in the morning to check up on Sid...feeling even more worried on seeing no sign of him there...but her expression when she she's walking out and she sees him walking in...very nicely done...the relief on her face mixed in with anger/irritation too...and it's the irritation she unleashes on him when they finally come face to face...the convo today seemed to have one foot in the past again...lol when she asked him where he was busy partying all night, he had to make it about her supposedly not inviting him to some party when they were kids...lol

I feel like the "Aur kiska haq hai humaari jaan pe?" moment played out better in the promo...dubbing felt a bit weird today...or maybe it was the print I watched.

6) Sid's giddiness over going to that party...LOL he really wants to revel in this victory...but Prabhakar as always was present to bring him down...Sid buttoning and unbuttoning and then again buttoning his shirt in this bit was looking hilarious to me as the situation kept shifting b/w them going or not going to the party...finally KK unwittingly came to Sid's rescue, I suppose.

How cute is Purva...lol I love her direct fundas...straight shooter ekdum with everyone in the family.

Anushka looks very pretty in the precap...and it looks like there is some side effect from the drug overdose that Sid is trying to cover up in his arm...

Overall a good epi...waiting to see what the party brings tomorrow.

The caps with Anushka's worry vs Sidhanth's bitterness was such a good sequence! These two have so much between, so much unsaid, so much hurt, so much life, that it's hard to untangle from the web they created all those years ago. They keep being pulled back to each other perhaps out of their own volition. What drives them so? Concern? Hurt? Ego? There's so much here and so little said.

They both talk directly about the surface level stuff that's hurt them, her not inviting him to parties, him being so ambitious, her supposed using him, his overconfidence blinding him to everything else. These are obvious things, they are things that dictate their everyday interactions. But it's the resounding pain that's still finding its way to pump through their veins that dictates their viciousness towards each other. There are moments where it looks so raw, the moments between Sidhanth and Anushka look so intimate that as a viewer you think you've overstepped bounds. Those are the moments I want the writers to expand on. I mean of course it's only the beginning and we have so much more to go, but I think these two can do raw scenes so well, and I'm looking forward to it.

Great point there, Vena...and I totally agree...there is the obvious, and then the not so obvious at play here...the surface level things are mere smokescreens they are using to express their anger and hurt with each other...like today him lashing out at her over some party she didn't invite him to...lol and her chiding him for never caring about anyone else...the real crux of the matter is the unresolved feelings...they broke apart at a very fragile moment...where it seemed like they were on the cusp of having realized and about to express their feelings to each other...it is that very unresolved emotion that plays out in such a raw manner...because when they look at each other, it's all there in their eyes and as you said, it almost looks like a remarkably intimate emotion...but because of the fact that they aren't yet ready to directly express it to each other, it continues to fester as this naked emotion...the proverbial elephant in the room that they aren't yet ready to get to...lol

I suppose the writers do have some plan to open up those cards slowly and steadily...but I agree with your point that more scenes with that raw intensity would be interesting...they do do them quite well.

Yes, I was quite active in the NBT forum, maybe we ran into each other there...I used to post some analysis threads during the heydays of the show...the first four months before it went down the drain😆

@bold: Deffo feels like we are in build up mode...it will all lead into some kind of direct outburst b/w them...notice how two weeks in, we are already getting more raw interactions b/w them...last week had Anushka just passing off the cuff taunts at him or having those few moments of emotional softness around him...but today was a significant shift in Anushka being unable to fight the avalanche of emotions inside her thanks to the dire situation he put himself in...it forced her to put aside her anger with him and dwell on how much pain he must be in...the "zyada dard toh nahin ho raha, Siddhant?" that she said to herself as the tears streaked down her cheeks said so much.

The sheer shock of what he did has rattled her in a different way and left her emotions even more raw...while on his end, even though he claims he never expects anything from her, there is again that raw, naked pain over her possibly not even caring what happened to him...then confusion again when he sees her outburst over him not caring for his life...then again the brusque swagger, switching gears to taunting her with something instead.

Just last week some of us were discussing how Sid's taunts to Anushka didn't feel as sharp as hers were...but today those roles felt a bit reversed...lol he used the hurtful taunting as a distraction when she rightly questioned him taking such a big risk with his life.

So all this feels like they are building up towards some form of a big outburst b/w them...they are increasing in intensity with each new situation that comes their way...now tomorrow another shade may get added in the party scenes with them possibly having a convo about why he risked his life like this...it's like each time they manage to talk, they uncover another layer of the strong emotion b/w them and invariably it leaves them more vulnerable so they have to find a way to fight again...lol

By the end today, already Anushka was regretting worrying for him so much...asking herself why she cared so much when he didn't seem the least bothered...lol

Nice one man. Episode was enjoyable I think. Whatever I found lacking was compensated by the posts on the forum .xD

The buttoning and unbuttoning was cute.

And yeah, there will be an outburst soon. I don't want their MU to be as the EKDV one, some party scene again. She ended up with some other guy instead of Sid. I wanted it to be something more than they .

Btw, if he's 28 now, he must have been 22 when Anushka left. After 22 also, your face changes so much is it? 😆 Have never seen it. People become old not different. Anyway, this guy has Mahadev's kripa on him. Lol.

LOL the age revelations today really had me amused...so they were just 22 when the breakup happened? That's like even out of college, man...itne bhi bacche nahin the😆...and yeah no one's face changes so dramatically post 22...also, Anushka's height spurt is remarkable too...who suddenly grows so tall in their late 20s? 😆

haha@ Mahadev ki kripa...indeed.

No idea about EKDV misunderstanding plot...I anyways feel Sid-Anushka's equation is different in terms of their MU and issues and the treatment of their storyline is different too.

Im surprised Sweety ji didnt tell Sid tat Anushka called on his ph,whn Sid said rich ppl dont bother etc..She did try reachin him over the ph..She was restless too aft knowin he had the drug..Wonder wats gona happen @the party..Hope the sinhas arnt embarassed by the reddy bros..

N regarding the younger sid n Annu,i think the cvs jus wanted to go wit different younger ppl to play them to make it interestin for us like Sumo n Shravan.

this clearly is the EDKV MU the moment sid said oh she used me did not acknowledge our friendship i went BAM only difference is here the actors are more convincing and can actually give expressions unlike EDKV( no offence meant to anyone)

lol the buttoning adn unbuttoning was hilarious i could relate to that moment hamare haan aise moments pe kahavat hoti hai . nahte dhote reh gaye teh moonh te makkhi beh gayi ... i instantly laughed and said that in my head when i saw him naumeedi main opening his bttons but then the phonecall changed the situation hahaah that smile of sid and how he jaldi jaldi buttoned up his shirt again isse pehle ke program phir change ho jaye haha such a cute fam moment. i laughed so hard at Prabhankar's struggle with moze and tie too and then his angrez chale gaye yeh yahan chod gaye about tie lol

and duh i totally am with you guys KK would never be ok with this alliance it is all still very much dikhawa for him . the something gets messed up due to prabhkar he will drop him like a hot potato. hence you see the extra struggle from Prabhakar to make things alright and always giving his 200% . i mean if the friendship and vishwaas is that string then P can take a chill pill na and relax a bit but nah and i am sure he knows this too

SJ and Sid were so adorable and liked the whole scene too .

right now just hoping that Gayatri and purva are not going to get insulted by mrs reddy i have a feeling she will say somethign real ean to gayatri she was bechari so excited for the party too

Thanks for clarifying that...I don't think this is like EKDV either, whatever little I know of the storyline of that show.
