According to the TB article if Sudha really does natak with Leher, what is painful to watch in our Hindi serials is that when the characters have a mouth they dont open it and have a heart to heart talk. Why cannot Leher confide in Sudha with Abeer's help ???
Do they want to show that the way Sudha misunderstands Leher same way our lalla also misunderstands Leher ???

I hope this incident is a wake-up call for Abeer....after all the things that happened before their marriage, I thought Abeer had woken up and realized how conniving his Dadi & TN are. But after coming back to his house, he has gone back to being happy-go-lucky without a care in the world...what happened to all that talk abt making something of himself.
Hopefully he will realize now on that he needs to do something for himself and stop depending on TN for all his needs.

Bala jee,
Hmmm, I havent yet watched the episode...But its just one epsiode today, lets see what the track leads to..Omi was the same initially, I would be creeped out everytime Omi and the background music came, but looking back it was fun.
I think true love is not just being romantic and happy, Abeer and Leher will face life and its realities just like any other couple(ofcourse they face filmy situations too..). Love has to see them through all the situations, love doesnt exist seperate to life.

@Neel, you have hit the nail on the head.. It is 100% true that love cannot exist outside of life. Love is what sustains life. It is severely tested by adversity and perversely, adversity acts as a stimulant for Love 's own growth (We all believe in Yeh Pyar Na Hoga Kam !)

My point is that unless Abeer & Leher face the challenge of completing their studies, getting into an earning vocation, etc together, their relationship would remain a series of good and bad dreams , dictated by the circumstances and the people around them. What we as viewers would be treated to is a series of filmy, contrived scenes, some of which we go Kya Kya over; and others like the post shopping mess, which we all abhor.

Probably, what I am hoping for, maybe somewhat insanely, is that better sense prevails upon the script writers, and we get to see a more credible storyline at least from now on. We need to see Abeer & Leher's love for each other taking on more hues, beyond the merely obvious, and also their emotional bonds getting stronger. We need to see them talking to each other, for a change, discussing issues & possible solutions., taking comfort from each other, seeking support from each other, for their own dreams and aspirations.

I for one, cannot imagine a Romance without all the above, even if the all Vajpayees and all the Mathurs turned into benign creatures overnight.

With the benefit of being happily married for 37 years now, I can assert that with some authority.

I completely agree the track is very very boring. Leher seems to always have a Barbie doll
kind of smile and that is the end of her acting.

how utterly boring.

@Bala, I have to 500% agree with you and this is what I am begging the CV's from day one.
Do show Abher scenes and moments and also the songs. We all love them. But also show Abher discussing their future and plan ahead. Let them tell about the entire shopping incident to Sudha and let Sudha also know what's going on. Just the way the evil trimurti plans let Abher and Sudha also plan against the trimurti. That would be fun.
Yes the Kya Kya Kya scenes were good. The Pyar ki Dastaan song was great. But show that Abher talk to each other that how they were fooled in the shopping incident. And everytime something like this happens just dont keep showing abeer manawofying leher. Show something serious that they talk to each other. Show conversation.
The writers should also know that they are indeed sending out a social message with such shows. Because when youngsters, see Abher working and earning their own money, which makes it harder for the trimurti's to harass them, youngsters will also take this as an example and start working before planning a love marriage against their families wishes.
Love marriages have taken an upscale in India after the economic liberalisation. But show the importance of economics in YPNHK instead of just values / sanskars / etc. Right now Abher are trying to win the family with love / sanskars / etc. But you can win ppl like Sudha with love and sanskars not ppl like Boodha and TN.
If CV's want to show Leher ultimately wins over TN / Boodha with love and sanskars it will be the stupidest message sent to the audience. Because such ppl do not understand that language. As Abeer put it, Kulcha / TN / Boodha dont know anything else but "AAKHE FAD KAR GUSSA KARNA".
Why does Kulcha love Omi so much ? Simple, because he fills Kulcha's pockets. He treats Omi better than Ankur. Brij is a principled man that's why he's never hated Abeer.

for once, i am in agreement with you 100% for what u have said which i have highlighted in bold..

I don't want abeer singing a song or pacifying leher with chocolates and flowers and would much rather they showed a minor tiff between Abher with leher saying that he does not seem to understand how much she is being tainted if they don't wisen up and after that with Abeer understanding leher and as someone said, do all your lovey-dovey acts when u r alone, but keep your eys/ears open when u r around anyone except for we know who!

@Vaish, a person who's just married, does not have a house or education or job, any support from his own family or inlaws, just 500 rs in his pocket with 1500 rs borrowed from bansi kaka and friends, cannot sleep the entire night. Abeer was more worried next day about Leher's breakfast, etc. They should have shown Abeer / Leher conversing about the way ahead. He just keeps saying I will manage everything, but beta its not easy... start thinking now and you will get something tomorrow...... That's the message CV's have to send out, that you want to fall in love, there's nothing wrongin it, but make sure u have the money to back you......
