what...he ate a boiled egg...
Just imagine when DADI comes to know this...what will she do...
Abheer aabhi aande khaye ga...ghar jaake dande khaye ga...
Dadi will not leave her when she comes to know...and she will irritate and flustrate him a lot...Again the Drama will start...
Dadi will start blaming Mrs Shuklaien...and his son Madhav for this...

TN's forgotten the cardinal rule of bringing up a kid - you have to be parent, friend, counsellor and mentor in parts! He failed to realise that his son was frustrated and Abeer's words were spoken in the heat of the moment.
To be fair to TN, his patience is probably running thin with the ongoing drama in his house perpetuated by his mom, which probably exacerbates his frustration. After having berated Shukla about Shukla's upbringing, to be faced with a rebellion of sorts in his own house must have really frazzled him and he lost his cool. Not to forget that he's hugely hung up on his "brahmin" antecedents!
Abeer is doing what young people do when they feel slighted, angry or unheard - they hit where they feel it will hurt the most. Not the most rational thing to do, but TN has the benefit of age and experience on his side which Abeer does not!

I dont know if boiled eggs are available on the road-side shops, they probably are, though I've never bought or seen any being sold ,but its just the way the vendor asked Abeer and he just thought he'd go for the boiled egg rather ,looks less messier than an omelette perhaps ?

first sign of rebelliousness .. now he will keep on adding more and more rebelliousness, no one can stop him now.. lesson to be learnt for parents, never punish your children when they are right..

TN is probably as frustrated and angry as Abeer is .. kahin na kahin toh gussa nikalna tha! 😕 But slapping your grown up son is not the solution!! TN is gonna regret this sooo much. Aage aage dekho TN .. hota hai kya!! 😕
@ Priti - Loll .. loved the "ghar jaake dande" bit!! 😆

Hina,
that's quite right.
most brahmins I know ie, the eggetarians, prefer to eat boiled egg rather than bhurji or omlette, if they HAVE to eat outside.
First the anda looks compact and has only been cooked in water. second the other variations smell a lot more so the CVs appear to have got even that detail right 👏
