I knew this show will end but never thought it would be so soon. would it kill cv's to keep it on air until september? sony is a fickle channel, anyways. they make some of the crappiest decisions.
so here is how I think everything will wrap with lightening speed.

  1. Armu will win the competetion, thus using the prize money to kickstart her business
  2. Dharmi and raami will be redeemed
  3. DM will have a change of heart
  4. Mishri will return just to show us what has become of her

I don't really know what to expect now..
I just want to see how our poor writers will handle this sudden decision imposed on them and still make sense in their story line. Such a hard task for them. Poor guys. I wish they had at least couples weeks more.

I wanted them to wrap it up, because this a good stage for neat ending but they should have gotten more time. mid september would have been a good time to end it.

sony is being unfair but I personally feel even cv's are at fault. they gave lackluster filler episodes for about two weeks. instead they should have brought back dharmi and started the sanvi-DM track.

Pom... posting my brilliant idea from another thread:

Hey girls, I just had a light bulb moment! I think I know why DM is negative.
See... since he is negative... and corrupt... and kameena... Saanvi will find out... Mukhi will get him arrested for corruption ( he is probably in cahoots with Rami and Arjan for their bootlegging)

So then Saanvi makes a decision to reject DM and keep the baby.

Then Mukhi calls Rami and tells her that this is what he asked of her so many years ago. To throw Lalji in prison and keep the baby... maybe if the timeline is right, he reveals that her baby did not die... it was a girl and that she is none other than Mishri. And that Lalji has been sentenced for life.

Rami and Arjan will also get arrested for bootlegging and our Deb will get her legal poetic justice and sleep in peace!

So we close Saanvi story, Rami story, Mishri story, Lalji story, bootlegging story and DM story!

i have a feeling if Rami finds out Mishri is her daughter, she might confess all her crimes to Raje and asks for forgiveness...thus Rami redeemed...the amount of pyaar Raje gave Mishri, she and lalji could never have given such life and pyaar to Mishri.

Ya I agree. Episodes after Abad with toilet track felt dragged n nothing concrete happened during that time. Only thing was DM made his entry. Anyway they sure could have done better made some episodes tighter but even then I would say, this show has been better even in its worst episodes than a lot of shows on Sony.. Writers did pick up immensely this week. This show deserved a better exit than whats being imposed. All I'm saying is 1 week notice is not enough for any show to close all its tracks, justify the flow and wrap up decently. It was the same case with EDKV too. Sony and show producers should at least review their shutdown notice period and increase it a bit. This kind of shutdowns are unfair and harsh towards viewers(though tiny %), cast n crew who invest so much.

So true Isabel. Something has to be done. Like how we have ISI standard... or guarantee.

This dragging is so similar to EKDV ending. First unnecessary dragging and then abrupt finish.

It may not be top priority to the IB department. But I still feel that something should be done to prevent this sudden shutdowns. There must be a rule that holds good for all channels. Some warning given to audience not to invest too much emotions into the story. First we need to be told if it is a finite series or not. If not, then the one or two month notice needs to be made mandatory and the audience should be made aware of it... afterall we are paying for it.

Sony has zero consideration for the audience, and very little business sense which is why the channel is at an all time low.
the actors, especially someone like eijaz khan deserved better treatment.
