You can't force love, I realized. it's there or it isn't

I read the above quote in a book that I don't remember the name of. however, it is true, isn't it? Love is either there or not there- it is a natural process, and you cannot force it.

We know Aru is destined to fall for Mukhi, but that is a journey she must take- it is a slow process and even that has its own beauty. Love is not like maggi noodles. it does not happen in 2 minutes and unlike what the other Tv serials depict, there is no such thing as Insta-love or love that happens through eye locks or trip-fall-catch sequences. The true foundation of love is respect, gratitude, understanding, maturity and etc etc. which is why marriage takes effort, electric currents and sensuality is not enough. Love that is only based on intensity and wild fire, burns hot but slowly flickers away. aru and Mukhi are in it for the long haul, not brief moments of ecstasy.

Aru is not obligated to feel anything romantic for mukhi because he does or because she is his wife. Let's not go back to the archaic ages, marriage does not automatically activate such feelings nor is a woman to act like a wife, especially when the said marriage happened against their will. Otherwise, she respects mukhi, looks up to him and recognizes him a man of worthy character with a big heart. what more does one? The most crucial foundations are already being laid. Love will happen, but it will take its time. one cannot force aru or blame her.

And I'm dying for the moment she realizes her feelings. Oh won't that be a treat.

It would be much more interesting than our Mukhiji's awareness of his feelings. He knows it but is not giving in to it. If Aru knows it, she will break down all barriers to claim what belongs to her. She said something like jisme meri haq nahi, main raktha nahin aur jisme mere haq hai, main chodtha nahin ❤️

Btw, whats the deal with the diary? Why does he hide it and blush!? He reads it day and night like he can't take his eyes away. Ho kya rahaa hai Mukhijiii? Or, maybe its because Mishri kept telling him that it is wrong to read other people's diaries ??

I'm yet to guess how aru will react to the realization, I mean she may feel awkward and first but then actually pursue a relationship afterwards. it seems like such a aru thing to do, to go after it with conviction and frenzy. that line read may have been an indication of what is to come😳( you should totally make a post about that phase)

The diary, I know it sounds wrong but he might be secretly crushing on the writer? or the embarrassment of doing something on the sly.
