There was a need of this Mukhi saving Aru in bathroom and seeing her in such state to move the story to next level.
Normally shows start with -

Flying dupatta on face
Blouse Dori tying
Asking for towel in the bathroom
Bra strap showing
Or a hug or accidental kiss

And they make so many articles and SBS sections before they telecast - how cast was removed to shoot this epochal scene and how difficult it was and who confirmable they were and what not

I am glad SBS could not smell this sequence ... no spoilers..

Here a bold sequence of TV (7 PM slot - Yes), shot aesthetically, intertwined with the story and their characters beautifully .. will take the emotional side of the story forward ..

Mukhi's reaction was just like a mature man.. he was not like - OOOH NUDE .. at 42 man need not be married or see po*n to know how a naked women looks like..

For Aru - her reactions were just ... as a girl of 22 .. married without consent and proving for her sister .. has totally different plans than staying in this marriage if something like this happens .. 1-2 days of embarrassment is natural ...

Want to add - I am glad - They are not overusing the Moh Moh song .. notice the background score in first close scene and then when Aru wakes up - they did not use the comic background song (Vali Daa) score to make fun of her embarrassment -

It was only later when doctor asks Mukhi for Heavy item lifted and are in factory the comic score was used which means this will turn into the light moment ultimately..

Mukhi did not get up and started thinking about naked Aru ... another good way to show the maturity of the character

Appreciate.

Nice post and completely agree with you... Am glad they are not using the done to death clichs... The whole sequence was shot really well and I could see the comfort level that the actors share...what I like about this show is that the leads are real people and not the OTT characters that we usually see on TV...their personalities, flaws, strengths...make us identify with them... Kudos to the entire team of YMMKD👏

OOOH NUDE .. 😆😆😆
Agree with everything you said. And they actually used the Moh Moh bg on that scene on TV. But changed it on sonyliv 😕 they did the same when Aru almost hugged him the other day. Dunno why...

Well said!! This scene was a point of character development and also necessary to open Mukhi's eyes to the attacks happening on Aru. I like how the CV were able to weave the two together. It nice to see a show where every scene has some purpose, whether in developing the narrative or in developing the characters.

i not sure but i think first time in indian tv they show this.
big age gap married couple who still not even close friends and
they land up in this situation.so Cv's shown its all about humanity.

and ya no news at all about this that's the best thing they maintain women girls respect.

First of all, this is indeed an excellent post...with equally fantastic comments. See, what I believe is that in India, sex, and nudity are just too big a deal...they are highly overrated and that is primarily because it is repressed. We don't discuss it in a healthy way...a woman's body has always been captivated in the most sensuous ways and in the motion picture scenario is always used to give a titillating effect. We just tend to forget that every person has an inviolable right to his/her self and privacy. Immediately after an Indian marriage, the family the society starts bothering the couple for a child...whether its an arranged or a love marriage. I think this is highly derogatory in a sense that it invades into the mutual privacy between the couple and the basic autonomy that one has over his or her body. The purpose for all marriage is just uni-dimensional- SEX for the purposes of Procreation!! This very psyche is reflected on television, movies etc. where the husband is only considered as a sexual partner or procreative partner but not LIFE partner...or a Friend who must be taking care of the wife in all situations.
I remember, having gone to an Earthquake relief camp with a team comprising of both boys and girls and we were supposed to be rescuing and helping people out. As girls our job was to supply food, medication etc. and for boys to pull out the living, dead or unconscious people from the debris...Boys from 18 to 39...were rescuing semi-naked women, children etc...some in extremely bad condition. These women were brought to the tents where we would cover them up in sheets and provide medical aid etc. Just because Mukhi is her husband does not mean that he would get aroused seeing Aru in that state...Nooo!! How is that even possible?? Whether newly married or not!! Doesn't matter at all. She needs help...she needs to be taken out of this place that is all...simple and obvious instinct. Over-sexualisation of any situation is lame and idiotic actually.
Lastly, for the comment that this was not shown as a special segment or spoiler and instead used with the narrative is commendable...I want to shake hands with the writers for their fantastic thoughts and give a warm hug to Eijaz Khan for bringing Mukhiji to life with absolute perfection... Apologies for the long post!! Take care

AND i also like k cvs ne morning scene ko as a funny scene nahi kiya..same baat mene ye last post me bhi boli hai.
