Dear Topic Maker,
Had been meaning to reply to this and appreciate, how beautifully you've expressed the entire dynamics of their physical proximity.Much of this comfort and not discomfort stems from basically two facts.1. Arundhati has seen Mukhi as an elderly figure who cares for and respects women. Much of his interactions have been with Mishri, where he was a caregiver. Interestingly, the same aspect lets Mukhi also reach her heart. He has been a guardian to Mishri and hence, he never fails to strike the right chords with a young girl who is a counterpart of Mishri. For him, she might technically be the wife, but physical feelings aren't that far fetched yet.2. They both acknowledge the gravity of the relationship, but what they shared before the so-called marriage was a bond of mutual trust and its still going stronger day by day. If you see, he majorly calls her Gaurani, signifying how dynamics don't change with their marriage. There are only subtle moments when he calls her Aru. Those moments are special as even for a tiny bit of a second, he wavers and shares a much deeper connection with Aru and not his Gaurani. What would be interesting to see, how their dynamics will change. For Mukhi, it has already started, he feels her physical presence these days. His expression changes and I love how it's not awkwardness but it's awareness. Aru, I see a bit awkwardness and easily switching to comfort later. But the last episode, it was again awareness and not awkwardness. It was there too in her eyes when he had tucked a curl behind her ears.I love how the show explores these important feelings without any OTT flying dupatta, heaving bosoms and trip and fall sequences endlessly. Their physical expression is beautiful. One of the best till date. It's physical awareness now slowly progressing towards UST.Curious to see, how it's handled.Lubb,Piu
