No. :-D I am not referring to food here.

When he made his entry, he created quite a sensation because of his evil act.

Soon the veneer peeled off and we thought we found a hungry joker.

But last few episodes made me wonder that this man is not what he seems.

A few of us predicted that the serial will go the usual way of his lusting after Aru or Mishri or some other woman.

So far the man has not lusted after anyone else (the respectable exception still remains food) apart from Rami.

The man not just risked being thrown away or a worse fate at the hands of villagers who love (and obey) Mukhi, to be around Rami.

He tried to kill Aru, twice for the grouse he has against Mukhi that he snatched Rami from him. It was a bit scary to see how he entered the Garba party without worrying about his safety when he saw Rami with her husband.

the simple yet beautiful love story is marred by the addition of too many villains. why is arjan even part of the story? rami was enough

So far the only saving grace is that all of them are not in cohorts but either now aware of each other's intentions or are acting with cross-purposes.

But too many tracks (read : obstacles) is one of the basis of soap writing.

thts the reason I cudnt really "hate" RamLa.. thr so called "nafrat" seems to have a solid reason..

unlike Arjan.. who is clearly exploiting Mukhi.. and is wolf in garb of sheep.. hence is more dangerous thn RamLa..

Bt his goals seem to b different from his father who is in cohorts with RamLa.

Soon I guess thy will all come together to do the ultimate atyachaar on our female lead..😆

so if u think in terms of daily soap story line, thy r just developing tracks to build potential villains of the story..😆

Clearly RamLa r not serving the purpose of ultimate villain.. so Arjan has to step up and do the honors..😆

initially I thought Laalji doesnt love Rami but using her to take revenge from Mukhiji...although I still have doubts on his love..but it is clear that he cares for Rami..as u said he risked his life to meet Rami when he saw her with her husband..if it was to impress Rami or he really loves her that is the question...there r more abt Laalji we r yet to know..pehle RamLa ka full kahani reveal hona zaroori hai

I was reading one of my most favourite books about script writing (By one of the most important name if script writing called Syd Field), and was remembering your comment on one other post of mine.

I said that I find Aru a bit more one note than Mukhi. I agree with you that she definitely (thank god for that) does not belong to one of the stereotypes of TV heroines. The chirpy one. Of all the stereotypes (like the perpetual cry baby, damsel in distress, the quintessential sacrifice queen), I am scared of chirpy ones the most. (These days the trend is to make them a bit quirky and preferably a bit uneducated or a bit dumb)

She is happy, cheerful and optimistic but not the point of being so annoying (and in wrong places and occasions) that instead of liking them you want to punch them on nose.

But some parts of her characters can be fleshed out a bit better. She is definitely not a stereotype but still her character is at the stage of being a bit more than archetype.

Archetypes are needed to design a character while stereotypes is a work on lazy, shoddy writing. But I am hoping that eventually she will get more shades than just a responsible and optimistic person.

So far, I have hope. And I have no plans to declare the maker's team guilty unless proven so. :-D

(An occasional false note or two can be (and should be) ignored)
