Update for Aug. 18, 05 - Thnx to Nirav

Ashmit sees Devika. Devika is scared and walks back. Pooja comes in and asks Ashmit what is he doing inside when he said that he'll be waiting outside the hotel. Ashmit leaves with Pooja - Devika could not see Pooja this time as well. Pooja asks Ashmit why did he have to cancel such a big deal when Kocchar just complimented her. Ashmit tells her that he's not lost anything - he would have if the deal had happened. He loves her so much that he cannot tolerate anyone commenting on her. Pooja tells him that she'll stop coming with him - Ashmit tells her that he wants Pooja to be with her always - and that people see this and get jealous of Ashmit thinking that what he has, they don't have. Pooja is a bit surprised but later she asks Ashmit whether he loves her so much. She tells him that she'll go crazy with so much love. Ashmit and they hug each other.

Devika goes to the hotel where her mom explains that she has tried enough now and they should go back immediately. Devika explains saying that now since Ashmit has seen her, he'll come looking for her and she wants to tell his wife everything about him. Devika assures her mom that things will be fine.

The next day is Raksha Bandhan. Everyone at Gujral House is geared up for that. Bua ties Rakhi to Inder, Maya ties Rakhi to Vicky. Reema and Akash come in and greet everyone. Maya is not happy to see Akash. Akash tells them that he's come to drop Reema and is leaving. He tells Reema that he would come later to pick her up. Reema tells Maya that she should not behave like this whenever Akash comes in. Ashmit comes there and tells Maya that Akash is the jamai of this house and he should be treated properly. Maya does not like this and goes inside. Ashmit tells Reema not to worry and that he'll talk to Maya and explain. Akash would get all the respect in this house. Ashmit asks her to tie the Rakhi. Reema unki puja karkey rakhi baandthi hai. Ashmit tells her that her gift is a surprise and she would get it when she reaches her home. Ronit comes down and sees Reema tying Rakhi to Ashmit. He feels sad seeing this and thinks Reema's broken her promise. Reema sees him - Ronit goes back to his room. Reema rushes after him - Ronit is carrying his baby (watch closely and you'll see a doll) - Reema comes in and they both share some good moments. After tying Rakhi, Reema asks for her gift and Ronit gives her one. Good moments between brother and sister.

Ashmit goes to the hotel where Devika is staying. He gets the room number from the reception and wants to go there. The attendant tells him that Devika and her mom are no more staying at the hotel and have left yesterday night. Ashmit asks him where they would have gone. He points to another person and tells Ashmit that this guy had dropped them outside. Ashmit asks this guy and he said that he dropped them to a lodge near the bus stand. Good service this hotel guys give - dropping the residents to a different lodge. At the lodge, Devika's mom tells her that it is three in the noon and they have their bus at 8:00 pm - she wants Devika to come back before that so that they can leave from Mumbai. Devika agrees and says that she will be back before that. Devika leaves to meet Mrs. Gujral. Ashmit comes to the lodge asking for Devika. The receptionist says that they don't have anyone by the name Devika at the lodge. Devika's mom sees Ashmit. She goes outside and calls Devika on her cellphone and tells her that Ashmit is around and now she won't go back for some time to the lodge and later would meet Devika at the bus stand directly. Devika agrees.

Devika calls Gujral House and asks for Mrs. Gujral. Dadi picks up the phone and informs her that she's gone to her house to tie rakhi to her brother. Devika asks for the address and Dadi gives it to her. Ashmit is listening this. She asks Dadi whom did she give the address - Dadi tells him that she said she was a friend of Mrs. Ashmit Gujral and wanted to meet her. Ashmit knows what is happening. At the Mehta House, they show Paresh after a real long time. Pooja and Poornima tie Rakhi to him. Mandy and a friend is there as well. Ashmit comes in there and Mandy asks him to sit. She tells him that they were talking about him. Ashmit tells them that he was passing by in this area and thought he would pick up Pooja. Devika comes in at the address and asks Paresh who is playing cricket downstairs for Mrs. Gujral. Paresh recollects that she was asking for his sister and goes to call her. Here is the mess up - he calls Poornima. Devika tells Poornima thinking that she was Ashmit's wife that her husband is no good. Poornima gets angry and wants to leave - but Devika explains that he will be very good now but later will be like a shaitan. Poornima asks her who she was and she tells her that she is the first wife of her husband. Poornima is shocked. The episode ends.

Why did this have to happen? Why could not she meet Pooja? What will happen now? Will Poornima realise that she is talking about Ashmit? Will she call Pooja then? Will Ashmit come to know that Devika has come in? What will he do with Devika? Will Devika reach her mom on time and they will leave safely? How will Poornima react when she comes to know that Devika was telling about Ashmit? Will she believe? Probably, No. But then...... phew. Lots of questions. Maybe you guys can provide some answers.
