Hey guys today me and my grandma were watching the show and when dadi came on screen in ymlh my grandma noticed that ronits dadi was wearing a bindhi and she asked me in the show is dadi; husband alive and I said no and she said then how come she is wearing a bindhi because in the hindhu culture womens who are widowed are not suppose to wear bindi's and I WAS KIND OF SURPRISED ...I guess the directors didn't pay attention to that very much..😕

If you notice in serials these days, widows do wear bindis and it is very small in size and simple. I totally support that. Being a widow does not mean that you cannot wear any makeup.

Not strictly true .... women who are very religious in the hindu culture continue to wear a discreet bindi despite being widowed .... it's normally a small red dot.
