Hey 👋, first post here but has been watching the show on and off, for days.

And That's coz the way Armaan looks at Diya, coupled with that bg music is beautiful.

But that's it. You can enjoy the show, if you watch the mathurs or Diya and armaan separately, or if you don't analyse/ overanalyse.

A lot of things are messed up here;

a. Mathurs actually allowed palki to go through with this revenge drama thing. Mummy, papa, Diya, anyone?! Put some sense in Palki rather than going with the flow becoz this is not right!

b. Armaan needs to come clean to Palki. Him assuming that she doesn't like him just because he doesn't feel the same, is very irresponsible of him. And this is being made worse by the fact, that he looks for Diya while giving Mathurs hope, that it's Palki.

c. Palki really needs to come clean regarding her changed feelings, to her family, to Diya, so that Diya starts seeing Armaan as her sister's prospective groom.

d. Idk if this is coz she thinks palki has no feelings for Armaan, that she is allowing herself to develop feelings for him. I mean, it felt really weird for her to be looking forward to his message considering he is her sister's suitor. That's what I think, anyway.

E. Armaan ki sister, whatever her name is. What's with her Palki obsession! You'd think getting Armaan married to Palki is going to bring her fame or something, coz that's how much desperate she looks.

F. Armaan's mother- what do I even say! She can see that Armaan is liking Diya, and not Palki but she will still emotionally manipulate him into marrying her so called standard ki ladki just so that they have a trophy to flaunt " that look my divorcee son got such a young chirpy girl!"

Can't she see, that failure of one relationship must've left him vulnerable. But the fact that it was a love marriage that failed, is being used to drive home the point that arranged marriages are rock solid!

G. Also as a lot of people have pointed, the portrayal of this whole complexion thing is too typical. Especially that mother scene in hospital where the mom was dragging her child away from Diya! Who does that!? Even that college flashback of Diya where her crush laughed at her was so 1960s! You turn down people, nice and easy! And even if the man was a prick, why were other college students laughing?! Not every modern college going student is a judgemental ass who will laugh at someone's rejection.

I really do like how Armaan remember the moments spent with Diya. I really do. And I would have loved to see them get closer as prospective partners, minus palki and whole mu stuff out of the situation. But no! It won't do if everything doesn't fall apart, in ITV! Palki and Diya will be having a fallout soon, and I dread it because ITV always makes light of sibling relationship, when siblings who have always loved eo are way tighter than that. Idk how the entire scenario will pan out, but as far as my understanding goes, Arman and Diya will get married, in unusual circumstances, where his family will hate on her, her sister would hate on her, and he would probably hate on her too, because all the secrets will come stumbling out at the wrong time.

I wish, if only they would have had a normal courtship punctuated by fights, that would lead to wedding.

I have not watched the original, if there is any so I have no clue of the plot, but my gut says, it won't be simple.

That's all!

Hi there! 👋

The bit with Pakhi & her scenes are genuinely speaking, really vexing. I feel as if loopholes are being inserted to drag her role without proper discussion, thereby having a development of unnecessary typical "love triangle." Also, her presumptions without even discussing whether Armaan liked those photos or not, the revenge thing, etc are jarring. 😆Writers seem to dilly-dally this, eh?

In today;s episode, the scene with Armaan presuming that Pakhi wouldn't gel with a divorcee due to age and contrast in perception was a bit too generalized presumption while liking Dia's company concurrently. Was a bit perturbed of the anticipated aftermath if this thing isn't cleared out otherwise the track will circulate in endless directions lol 😂 . The writers are free to dilly-dally at their own pace. LOL😕😆

Surprising, the obvious flirtation amongst Dia & Armaan, that too in front of the family, without both verbally acknowledging that there is something interesting brewing up was much better to observe before Pakhi angle was inserted. Armaan noticing how Dia was appearing rather inattentive or bored in the "Never have I ever" game was interesting. She has lived somewhat of a secluded life despite a loving family and herself as a caring individual --- that loneliness has impacted her a lot which Armaan has noticed, something she seems cognizant of but perhaps finds it hard to verbalize or something.

The Master Yoga ji sarcasm/bantering was nice. But Pakhi's arc is just too restrictive or has a directionless arc.

I won't deny that the college FB was bit too stereotypical just to shed some background on Diya's past.
