i liked one book in which the heroines name was phoebe.

That book was funny.natural born charmer, nobody's baby but mine are some of my favorite

I loved reading those two as well specially No body’s baby but mine - Cal was hilarious and the FL again though a nerd she gave him back good. I loved the lucky charm scenes and the one where she said she will electrocute him 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 Cal was so scared. Man I miss old SEP!!! Her recent books are so bad.

I like all those authors too. Judith Mcnaughts Double Standard was a great book but her more recent ones I am not enjoying them much. Too many MU. Yes BED is a great book by Lisa Kleypas. I love reading Sandra brown and Audrey Howard as well. Sandys old heroines were doormats but recent ones they are amazing.

Nobody's baby but mine is my favorite.. I love Cal and Jane. And his parents secondary story was fabulous.. it's probably my most reread book of hers .. I thought at one point she wrote very good secondary stories alos but alas she has lost her touch.. I also like.match me if u can of hers and kiss an angel.. which has a farishte ki dil wali heroine 😆

It's actually been long since I read romance genre.. I got bored of it..same.old tortured heroes etc. I am sure there may have been good ones too but I stayed away.. I did read few of julie James which were kinda easy breezy. And thankfully no helpless destitute spunky heroines.. all of them were very career oriented successful girls.. practice makes perfect is a fav... office rivalry.. total fun read. There was also another irresistible soemthing title.. cant recalled which I loved.. and few others.. not heavy..

Back whne I read them I read few Mary baloch.. slightly dangerous was my fav.. a book obviously inspired by pride and prejudice.. its last of series of 6 to 7 siblings. And the hero being a powerful aristocratic figure in earlier books.. I usually feel such built up and hyped character is always screwed up.. but surprisingly it was a rare case of the it being the best in the series according to me..

Yes it is one of my favourite as well but if I have to pick it would be Lady be Good and Dream a little dream. Kenny was the most laziest person but Emma and her wittiness was amazing. The secondary story of his sister torrie was very good too. Same with DALD - Rachel and gabe were perfect. Rachel never ever gave him and her son Edward aka Chip Stone 😂😂😂😂😂 SEP wrote very well back then and I use to eagerly await her new release but now I am bored as like you said same ole same ole.

I like Mary Balogh as well and I loved reading Deborah Smith - she really had a very good build up and then her leads were so good I have re read all of her books multiple times. Currently I am reading indie authors like Aly Martinez and Brenda Rothert- books are super cheap on kindle and they are fun to read as well.

SEP no longer works for me.. it's like she is stuck telling the same story with different character names.. even her character traits remain the same.. the last book that worked for me was natural born charmer..after that it's one failed book after another..

ha ha .. so true. here initial books were very good. Great and you and Vibha read her. Julie Garwood, Marie Force, Lisa K, SEP, Stephanie Laurens, Maya banks, Judith MacNaught, Katie Reus, Susan Stroker, Callie J Brooks, and some more whose books I enjoy on and off.

Add me too!!!!!! I just commented in another post and quoted some author names that I read on and off!! I like Marie Force too and some of my best read books are written by Julie Garwood, Judith MacNaught, Mary Balogh, and Stephanie Laurens. I loved Almost Heaven of Judith's.

Slightly Dangerous is one that i love too!! Such a superb Male and Female lead man!! I love the strong, stern yet vulnerable man who does not hesitate to show all his sides to his closed ones.
