Vikram is so underrated as an actor.

I have been watching Vikram since JNDSD, infact JNDSD was one of those shows which i ended up watching by randomly flipping channels and then there was a scene of Atharva and kailash kashyap playing onscreen and for some reason (I still don't know) i felt that this actor is just so charismatic onscreen. That show probably was one of those few love stories onscreen which had a very old school and unique take on undying love and i must say Vikram aced as Atharva, i do not know why he never won the ITA for Atharva's character because a performance like that really comes after ages onscreen, he had so much confidence and energy onscreen, I knew that he would be one of the best in TV soon.

After that i earnestly follow his work, then came Ek Deewana Tha, and once again he ended up with the best performance of the show, a psychotic and totally different character from Atharva and also in a two hero show where comparisons and fan fights were there all the time, but boy Vikram killed it with his performance. the first 60 episodes of Vyom was something and then Vyom takes a complete 360 degree turn in the next phase of the show, the transformation in his crazy and mentally unstable character was so drastic and Vikram never managed to make any mistake. it was amazing to see him play a completely negative and borderline psychotic character after playing the ever righteous and feminist Atharva. I think Vyom will always be a very special character for me because this show built Vikram's foundation as a versatile actor.

Later on I watched baarish, and even though he had a smaller character in the web show he did pretty well. what i did not like about his character was that it was very basic, there was nothing different from any balaji show's male characters.

Now he is playing Aman with so much honesty that i believe he is one of the few male actors in Gul Khan shows who actually can act, given that his character has many layers and the usual male chauvinism of regular Gul heroes, he is doing a wonderful job. All i do not understand is why did the writers forget that in the initial phase of the show Aman was this strong headed and balanced man who knew how to differentiate between right and wrong, once he fell in love his brain went to dogs? in that case pyar kyu huya isko? the problem is Gul/Ekta does not have good enough writers to ensure that male leads do not loose their basic character once they fall in love, there was so many ways to separate Aman and roshni but no they had to ruin Aman's intelligence and his basic judgement to break up his and Roshni's alliance, just like in every other show.

I still did not watch Maardani 2, even though i want to watch it for Vikram but i have heard that it is a very brutal take on rape and movies like this disturbs me a lot, but i will still try to watch it.

To summarize, it has been around four years since Vikram has got his breakthrough and he has achieved a lot as an actor, three different roles as male lead and all of them being popular is no small feat. I really hope YJHJK gets a logical end and Vikram gets another great show in his kitty.

Vikram indeed is a very good actor... In fact from jndsd, the acting has gone a notch up.. Atharv Sujata was a quite writer backed role also... Aman is a character that has to be highly relied on acting, because of course writers ke dimaag mein kuch aa nahi raha.. Last episode's scene as much as it was disheartening to see, can't help but appreciate his fabulous acting..

True. I just discovered him while watching Cricket match and they promote YJHJK trailer during the break. Promo was so impressive that I hv started watching indian show seriously again after a decade.

He is a good actor and when I search about him, looks like he has a very good academic and family background, his friend circles are also well settled in their LAW firms. I see a big sacrifice, risk and passion for acting.

I feel for it because my brother is IIT Kanpur topper and he chose writing stories and scripts for movies. Currently working with Prakash bhardwaj and some famous people who are making content based movies. I saw both the side, as a sister, how he felt, as a daughter how my family felt that time. Now he has 3 success and getting recognition slowly but struggle period is still not over.

May be that is why I always appreciate VSC and other actors and maker's hard work and feel personal when people criticize and say bad things. Remember, they are just playing a character.

Appreciate their creation. if you don't like, then stop watching, criticize but not much that the person working on it feel bad about it.

Thanks for this post ! I watched few scenes from JNDSD i really liked him and his dialogues delivery and Voice modulation was so good but i didnt watched the show ...I heard about Ek deewana tha but just here and there few scenes Neverr gave a try because of my busy scenhedules..but with YJHJN main reason for me to watch is Aditi i like her she is so nice and sweet and gul show ..Promo impressed me ..so started watching but end up loving Vikram more and Roshan...He is such an underated actor! Hats off to him he is playing Aman so perfectly 👏

Coming to Aman character growth ..First of all this is finite show which was planned for weekend and later they shifted for weekdays ..Still they planned for 100 epi ..So when we see the plot r characters they have written for 100 epi so we saw love, hate, marriage, separation, magic ..uniting them..everything in just 80 epi which means if we take 1 hr weekend show on saturday and sunday hardly 20 epi means hardly 2 months for weekend show ..so the story and characters all justified acc to that ..but later they got extension ..Till here everything is perfect ...

Another problem is this is magic show ..So we cant expect same logic as other normal shows....Aman is half jinn and half human we used to forget this ..So they have that freedom to show many variations in Aman like him doing wrong things bec he is half jinn ..but with Roshni they cant show much variations because her character is simple and they cant butcher her ..but with Aman they can write more with him eventhough we dont like all those loopholes bec initial epi..but as a daily serial TRP is important and TRP audinece dont remmeber like us r discuss like us All these points..so they are fine with all these until they get bored they watch..

We may not like but m Happy Vikram as Aman is getting so much to perform he always mentioned he is liking YJhJk he is getting so much to do ..we are seeing that onscreen ..As a fans we dont like but as an actor he is getting atleast now and m Happy for him ..hope he gets Award for Aman 😊

One more thing any actor needs TRP for their shows too because we cant deny main fact Indian Tv works on TRPs so m happy atleast he is part of show which is Top show on india for few weeks and Top show n channel and slot leader for few weeks and Now having decent TRPs top 2 on starplus ..So hopefully next 3 months extension gives us good story and good TRPs which whole unit Vikram and Aditi all deserve for it ..Even aditi for her second show which doing good TRPs m happy for them ..

If we dont like we can quit too we have option as audinece we can choose better shows .. but i like Roshan and Aman and Roshni....Honestly want to see them for more days so m ok with story now....they should have gone another way for separation instead of butchering aman but anyway it happened cant do anything ..So we get proper redemption track which Vikram will ace it and want to enjoy him playing as aman and Want to see Roshan journey for more days 😊

Good luck to your brother ..I hope he will be More successful and wish him all the best ...You all be proud off him don't worry ..agree with TV r movies the struggle is incomparable esp when you don't have god fathers to support in that industry you should do By your own!

Bold exactly ..even though i don't anyone anyone industry but when i read actors journey after successful careers n other platforms they choose this industry ..Struggles they went thorugh is so much only family and their friends know that struggle once they gets success people start criticize r love but what they went through only their closed ones know !

Even for serials just second for us to comment make a mean comment and will judge immediately ..but one serial coming on screen lots of hard work frm writing to editing, directing, actors hard work, spot boys to camera people, set people and mainly producer ..all put hard work ..And we don't like we have 100 of serials we can watch but wishing them bad Making mean comments ..just because you are not liking It ..for me its like satisfying your ego..just for our egos we want wish them bad but we always have a choice we can move on right why to wish them bad and say mean things..i am not saying don't criticize but criticism should be constructive so they should improve not like wishing bad like show can shut r they get low trps Show shuts r some other bad things because we r not liking it but that show is giving bread and butter to other people.

And even for writers they know what they are doing but daily serials they should stretch they should go out of characters and always TRP pressure..No one knows how trps come till date just assumptions ..that work for few serials same formula not work for other serials ..So i cant blame writers too we only know how difficult that job when we sit in that position saying they should do this that ..so easy but you know how difficult when we do it ..

are you talking about the scene in JNDSD where atharva brings guddi home gives a monologue on society and norms ?

that was the first time I had seen vikram and I absolutely loved the energy and aggression

that episode is my favourite

vikram really did deserve an award for playing atharva

I like vikram.. He is amazing with eyes emoting..

Jndsd I don't connect.... Ek dewana wlas so risky n he stood out.. That I think is a Master stroke... Choosing a negative role.... Baarish I watched n I loved vikrams story more than lead... This was my first vikram show without knowing his name I liked his role... Then yjhjk is absolutely amazing.. First 50 episode he steals every scene...

Thank you ! Not only my brother, I wish success to all the struggling actors, directors, writers. Especially for those who chose ART over regular path for success. And they don't have godfather or celebrity backing.

Secondly, commenting on their personal life is another irritating part. When you are successful everyone will chase you, worship you, when you are struggling nobody will remember your name until you prove yourself. It is complicated
