Its a known fact shitty tracks are inevitable in a long running show & brings TRP.. The TRP of YHC went from 1.8 - 2.3 during this shitty track.. So there are people who stuck to it or new audience have come in.. If it was too bad, why didn't TRP decrease? that is more than enough for the channel & PH.. It's all business & YHC for the longest time has done excellent business (even than its parent show).. has one of the largest margins with shows at its same slot.. As long as YHC remains slot leader, nobody is going to touch it, how much ever anyone wishes for it's shut down... Very simple 😊

@Bold: I'm seeing a lot of people mentioning this..But this is not true.

YHM used to have 3+ TRPs in 11pm slot and used to be in top 10. When the time slot shifted to 7:30, it used to be in top 5. So from where is this "YHC is doing better business than YHM" coming from?

On topic,yes I'll agree with one thing though, YHC will easily run for another 1-2 years as it's getting good TRPs for the channel in late night slot

I think last Thursday's epi got a rating of 2.5, and that episode barely had any SS for Mahima. @bold - haha, more the power of RuSha/Abrargun than YHC, but oh well. But I guess the online engagement has definitely decreased. Twitter is not so frenzied anymore, and IF rankings are on a decline. Even IG posts have become fewer though that might be due to a lot of fps going down as well. These are somewhat negative signs and it's upon the makers to take them or leave them.

Twitter is still crazy, there have been a lot of new people joining in. Trends are happening super successfully, as compared to few months back. Insta is a bit toned down, mainly because of the accounts getting disabled.. even after making accounts 4-5 times, it's being disabled, so many just interact in DMs or groups..

IF was always dead, it's just the ATs & CCs that were active by a set of people, they moved elsewhere..There was never good topics or discussions happening, so it was bound to fall eventually.. I don't think anyone from cast crew or someone care about IF..

All these are much less important than TRP.. shows which have huge online or IF hype are being pulled off TV before 250 epi due to low TRPs.. There are shows which I watched which were huge hits online, but got off air even before SR of couple happened.. So I just want YHC to run long enough so that Abrargun chemistry is explored completely.. they are once in a decade find..

@bold Of course there is scope of improvement.. and I hope next track increases it.. YHC TRP has been on a gradual & consistent rise

Lol, I knew you would intervene😆 I was not talking about TRP alone.. I was talking about investment Vs Return.. Divyanka & KP were the highest paid actors during their times.. Even Anita is a well paid actress.. Sargun & Abrar are new comers who may not be paid even 1/3 of KP & DT.. Also, the total cast is much less in YHC than YHM.. Moreover everything including leads clothes in YHC is recycled or low budget..No festivals are celebrated.. The channel & PH don't spend a single penny for promotion of YHC, but YHM was a heavily promoted show..

So it's pretty clear investment in YHM was much much more than YHC.. there may not be much difference in returns because it is having enough advertiser's & sponsors both on hotstar & TV.. Even during a BB finale week, it did hold its audience, so ads & profits will only increase now..

P.S we can't compare TRP of now & what was there during YHM at 11pm.. that time it was a different TRP measuring system, not BARC..

Well yes, I'll agree with one thing though that YHC isnt really promoted enough and the investment into it is very low.

@Underline I know that. That's why I talked about the relative position. YHM in 11pm slot used to be in top 10 and even in top5 a lot of times.

These track had covered 70+ episodes and except increasing trp this track didnt do any better for the story or characters. RuSha are being shown like idiots, Saransh a kid is being shown like a dummy and main characters are dying just to highlight how much the so called Mahima's evil Mahima is ! And still you think we are haters. So according to you we should be loving such a dirty piss track and go go gaga over Mahima's Mahima. Woww ! Who are exactly you to tell us that what should we select in poll ? If we select 'no' we love the show if we select 'yes' we are haters. What a logic !!! 👏

If things were so bad why would thousands of people keep watching week after week, that too at a late night slot like 10.30pm.. why didn't people switch off the crap & went to sleep.. TRP is registered if a person doesn't change the channel for a minimum of 17 minutes.. that means this crap drama was engaging for TRP audience.. otherwise TRP would have fallen to pre-lockdown times of 1.6, and SP would have pulled the plug by now..
