Vikas Gupta's upcoming story on Disney Bindass, Yeh Hai Aashiqui will deal with the sensitive subject of depression wherein a famous actress meets her death owing to health problems. This story which is slated to be the real life story of actress Jiah Khan as we know, has Rithvik Dhanjani and Mihika Verma in the central cast.
Joining them are actors Papiya Sengupta and Raju Kher. The senior actors play the parents of Rithvik in the story. Kher will essay the role of a one-time acclaimed producer and director who is past his good times. His only wish now is to launch his young son in movies. Papiya Sengupta plays the young guy's mother who is very loving and caring. She supports her son who is in love with an actress who is weak and fragile due to depression.
When contacted, Raju Kher told that, "Yes, I play a famous producer and director who wants to launch his son opposite a top actress. The story will take a turn when the actress who has never found a soul mate in her life, gets close to my son."
Papiya Sengupta told us, "It was a very nice role and I love playing the character. The woman is more concerned for her young son, and feels that her husband has had his moments in life. She is a positive character who supports her son always. The story will talk about depression and how this mental problem is not a condition which is contagious to anyone who comes near the person. However, this condition needs to be treated on time."
