Both growing up together in the same household with all the love and care showered on them.

Naina a studious padhaku girl who secretly like most of the girls had a dream of her prince charming.

Priti the girl full of dreams, who is least interested in studying but rosy picture of the tinsel town and dreamt openly about her prince charming.

Naina who met her Prince charming in Sameer and by hook or crook wanted him in her life.

Priti who always and always has been a biggest supporter of Naina and helped her achieve her dream.

Naina who afterall got the life she dreamt of in her prince charming..so what if she has to struggle in life with her prince charming and Love other things pale.

Priti the ever-helpful girl, who is ready to lay down her life for her Sis is married off in a haste to a qualified CA whose only aim in life is his Economics.

My heart goes out to Priti…being stuck with a boring Pati……...acunning MIL and has to take care of her Grand MIL.

Here I am not talking about Ashi and Ayesha…love both of them but talking about their characters and irony of life……how many times hasNaina stood up for Priti or come to her rescue. Even now it is Priti who is doing so much for her Sis and Jiju.

As they say we get what is in our destiny…but here Naina who made her own destiny and got the life she dreamt of…Priti who went with the flow and though does not have any expectations but is leading a boring monotonous life….As they kept saying in the show un dino Love Marriage karna bahut badi baat hain..but really makes one think going for love marriage karna ..going against the wishes of Parents and elders is the best thing to do...a person who always obeys and respects the wishes of Parents have to face the flak and lead a boring life is it. Why are they trying to justify that really.

This post is just for sharing my pov…no offence meant to anyone

It's like naina s life is eventful and preeti s life is /was smooth....may be boring but smooth....so naina did not have the chance to something for preeti....else she likes her a lot and cannot put her at risk a y such way at any point of time.it happens ....one sibling gets all the benefit a d support but on other hand one did not have any opportunities to return

Yes this is the irony of life indeed but why are you making it sound as if Preeti needs to be rescued. She chose this, no one pressured her. Anand had even promised her that he will never marry her against her will. Preeti had gone to meet the family and the liking was mutual. The lure of Bombay got to her and she did not see how boring life would turn out to be.

Remember how excited she was when she got her first love letter. Did she look like a girl who was being forced? Do you really think Naina would not help Preeti if she needed it?

Also you are forgetting its the 90s. Preeti is married now and it was an arranged marriage in a conservative household. Even if Naina feels Preeti needs to be rescued do you think its wise for her to step in when Preeti herself has not asked for help? No because in those times you had to be wary of boundaries, things could become worse for Preeti. Naina is living her dream life because she and Sameer have known each other for 5 years now. Whereas Shubham and Preeti are strangers. Slowly slowly they will grow to know and love each other.

He might be boring but he is not a bad person. He seems jovial and kind. So they will grow on each other and start loving. Give the Cvs time to explore this angle.

Not everyone wants a love story for themselves. Preeti wanted to get married to a family in Bombay and she got that. What seems 'Monotonous' and 'boring' may not be the same for everyone. I said it earlier too, Preeti was and still is one charming and chirpy girl and she got a husband who's not to chirpy or hero like but respects her if not love already. They balance out each other. Life is all about balancing. Not once did I feel she is 'stuck' with her in laws. She really enjoys it and I can feel it.

And if it's about Naina helping her, in what she will help? She is happy and loving her life. Preeti was never a very ambitious girl and that's fine. Not everyone wants to build an empire. Even her in laws are good people. Who else do you think would help in covering up a lie? Naina and Preeti very much love each other and have each other's back. In a relationship, (of any sort) you don't count things you do for the other one or things they do for ourselves.

People acting like Naina did nothing for Preeti. Preeti wasn't forced into this marriage. Preeti has always been this shallow to get lured by the idea of living in Mumbai. So stop blaming Naina.

Anyway show is no longer samaina show but Preeti and her stupid family show so enjoy while Preeti is getting all the screenspace and Naina being sidelined and reduced to romancing toy for Sameer

Yes that I agree...Naina loves Priti a lot...but just that in the show atleast they could have shown one incident where Naina stood up for Priti especially during her marriage time...but sadly that was so hurried up that we did not even get to see her Marriage.

We also had uneventful marriages of munna ,swati ,preeti where in they show them happily moved on in life ....living a decent comfortable life in ahmedabad and Mumbai.....drama does not happen in all s life.....are we in general not having simple life....doing our job enjoying our marriage and also enjoy our serial ...talking abt it

Can you explain why preeti should be rescued? Where preeti was & is happy in her marriage. I never saw in any episode she was suffering and needed a help. Rather she enjoys her MIL's kanjoosi and husband's economics. And she was the one who decided to marry him. No one forced her or emotionally blackmailed her. Naina beech mein kahan se ayi?!

She is not a romancing toy. She has been handling her husband and father,supporting her husband in the worst phase of their life and the amount of patience she is showing I feel like salute to her. Naina is a very strong character and I can proudly say the most unique character of ITV. And yes it's a samaina story. Preeti is being shown because she was in their journey. Just 4-5 minutes screen presence doesn't make her FL and naina sidey. Preet's character is there for naina. We can't have only samaina for 20 minutes. To balance the show they r showing us every character.
