Well...for me, I knew about the show through the promos when my family was watching TV...found the concept nice, but didn't pay much heed to it as I don't usually watch hindi serials...thanks to some Ekta addictions long back :P Then, one day I chanced upon bits of the episode where Sameer asks Mundit about the headboy competition in the cricket ground after Rakesh insults him. At that moment, I found Arjun more attractive than Sameer n thought maybe he was the lead. The same Saturday, I was all alone n bored n with nothing else available, checked out the show on YouTube. I binge watched the entire 14-15 episodes telecasted till then...n fell in love with the show since then. :)

I remember seeing sony promos before the serial started and i found it interesting...being a 90s kid myself...but didnt get around to watching until the episode in school where naina is about to be sent off to a far off school and writes a first love letter to sameer...and then when she doesnt go tries to retrieve it back😂...after that i was hooked...

But yes till break up track i used to watch some episodes on loop...the ones which i loved...now i watch the serial...but repeat watch value has decreased😃

I had seen the promos coz was watching KBC at that time. Wasn’t planning on watching it as I don’t watch Hindi serials. Despite being the 90s teen, I was like who wants to watch a teen love story set in the 90s and I don’t want 90s gyaan, I have lived it. Couldn’t make much of the leads either as I was not a bts person, so didn’t know anything about the show or the leads. Infact, more than Sameer, I liked Naina’s look in the promo coz with her two plaits, she looked like a school kid. Also, the shade of green of the school uniform has an uncanny resemblance to my own summer school uniform.

Saw the first epi as the tv was on post KBC with my son and both of us were laughing and enjoying and I could relate and share with my son how the 90s was especially the antenna scene. Also, what got me hooked was the line, “solah Saal ki Naina Aggarwal Dana dhan cycle me pedal Marte hue apne school aa rahi hai”, the whole stapu and how the whole life of a 90s teenager revolved around the 8 sections of a stapu including friends, school........loved it. Sameer kind of grew on me but loved his characterisation of a troubled teenager viz a vis Naina’s simple persona and ofcourse the VOs and the narrative.

Was hooked on....and the smile it used to bring at the end of every epi. Felt like a nice way to call it a night :)

My first episode was where Naina was getting ready for Sameers bday party lying to her family and Samundit discussing about Bet!

The first episode I watched was actually the very first episode of the show .. I was watching KBC with my family and didn't changed the channel at 10:30 ... I felt the magic and emotions
