Difference in ways or lack of ability..?

So finally after watching todays epi I would like to share my view on and I might again be the minority...

I feel looking at the surface we are not really saying the deeper aspect of the scenes

So naina has never been potrayed as perfect in coocking..even if its 90s..preeti and Naina both has hardly been shown into coocking...even in mt.Abu she was shown rounding rotis...not making curry...during diwali when naina for the first time was formally going to meet vishakha and preeti was acting to be vishkha and asked if she can coock naina said ji shauk hai lekin itna ache se nahi ata..

See you get the hang of coocking after doing it for some time..even if Bela taught her a little it will take to master it...however still I feel naina knows basic coocking but handling it alone is a different ball game. I have been the same...initially when my mom thought me coocking she used to be around but one day I had to do it alone and I messed up..then my mom understood that she needs rto slowly let me be alone to handle it often

Today I feel it was more about difference in their ways of doing things that was presented rather lack og nainas coocking skills.

First instance to that was the chai scene...ofcourse naina knows that tea needs to be boild but how much you boil it is personal preference...
Infact it made me think about the VO during when sameer went with Mundit to stick posters during elections...she said na ke chai achi bani hai ke nahi...iss ka faisla toh uss oe hota hai ke chai ko kitna obala gaya hai...and compred it with a perfect life partner...sameer seems to be liking stronger tea while naina light...

Naina knew ke kiya daln hai aur kitna dalna hai...which is the basic...
Ajvain and jeera mein confusion is very common...
She did peel of the onion and chopped it rightly...in short she knew how to make the curry.

Sameer has not been into kitchen much..especially not when food is under process...so he is not used to that the kitchen does get messy while making the food and you clebn up later on...I'm sure naina would have done that...why I relate to that is when I was not into coocking I used to feel that my messes up the kitchen so much and I used to get irritated and my mom alway said ke khana pakate waqt aisa hota especially alone person has to handle it...later when I started coocking I understood how true that was because I also never managed to clean up simultaneously...

I personally felt sameer was being all fussy kilonke yeh odhi chor bus oadhai na karne ke bahane dhoond raha tha 😆

This is my personal POV...we have to understand that these things takes times to get settled in...

Yes, it is true Abida. I haven't watched the episode but by reading in social media I guess that these are just excuses made by Sameer for not studying. Because previous day only Naina made tea for whole gang and they appreciated it very much.
And regarding cooking I agree 100% with you. It is altogether a different story to just to make one item and cook a whole meal especially curry. You need a lot of ingredients and onion skin and garlic skin always try to fly away from garbage basket. It is natural to drop some pieces while chopping vegetables. While spluttering mustard seeds you can find them escaping from pan and it may land on other items being cooked next to it. When you are new to any kitchen you may need more time to get a hang of it. If you are new in handling cooking all alone then you may require double time just to cook a simple dhal chaval.
Naina was always shown as not an expert in cooking. She knows how to make simple and common items which doesn't require too much expertise. She was always busy with school and her studies. Never handled cooking a complete meal all alone. But story of Pooja didi was different. She was staying at home only and quite often she used to handle entire cooking all by herself. So the adjustment factor to a new kitchen by a girl like Pooja will be much easier and quicker than a girl like Naina.

Naina does not know typing Saree...

Naina knew how to makes the food but not all properly as she herself mentioned so many times and this was the first time managing all by herselg alone befire it always been cahchi or preeti along with her so these blunders suppose to be happened and slowly she will become perfect .

I am yet to see the episode so can't comment on anything right now..

I don't think Naina was showed as not knowing anything in the kitchen. She was being clumsy yes, but add to it Sameer was constantly interfering with his cleaning and commenting. That made it seem like she was messy and didn't know anything.
But if look at the scene, she cooked, she cut onions and dropped some peel, she spilled some spice powders but that's okay. It happens. She would have cleaned it afterwards.
But Sameer couldn't wait.
And it is all fine. Each will learn to give the other the space they need to work by themselves.
