But CVS took a different turn and made him all angry and a mute spectator if all the trash the ladies were throwing at Naina.

I guess this will continue with the mangalsutra getting misplaced and irk Sameer more.
Waiting to see who will be the voice of reason to make him understand the dynamics of a husband-wife relation. It should be Naina herself or Chachaji maybe.

I guess it could be Sameer himself. When his anger is a bit subsided or if he sees Naina's tears, he will realise his mistake in a jiffy. His anger is ok, as you said he wanted them to look perfect for the wedding and also his expectations, they showed his dream Vs reality in yesterday's epi. I agree , he should have dragged her in a room and fought. I think he was too shocked to react. Had he known from before, he may have controlled the situation better. But no fault of Naina either, she didn't get any alone time with him.

What I found ridiculous was all those ladies taunting, in reality who does that, even if her look was disastrous, you will hide and smile or laugh. Not actually taunt the new bride in front of her in laws and her family. Who were these people? And in that crowd, koi to sympathetic lady hogi looking at the plight of a young bride. I wish the way V had taken her in for the saree tying, could have taken her in and spoken, assured her.

Before seeing Sameers reaction , I kept asking in various threads, what is the real purpose of the hair fiasco, coz it was expected, Sameer will accept her no matter what, but now looking at his reaction, I think it is just to delay SR and HM by our sadistic CVs😆

I too loved the episode except mami and ladies humillation to naina .Even his VO told ,he should been support her and I don't think looks really matters for sameer and it's just expecting naina to be like her dream one and this permanent perm irritated him more and more.
He didn't insult her and it was more like shock for him .

He always behaved same in anger "impulsive" and as he also was unaware about this hair fiasco so defending her in front of everyone didn't made any sense...So he left from there
As even chacha chachi also didnt able to react bcos it was actually shock for them as well

This is not called butchering the character when same person person is holding his ear and been sorry for the thing which he even didnt do intentially

If both the families were on good terms, they surely would have laughed it off or tried to help N. and folks like Mami would have definitely said bacchon se galti ho jaati hai - just like she explained away Sameer's absence in puja.. Here the circumstances are so different. NOt a single chance is left to humiliate N..

Infact, I do not know what has happened to the writers. Admit that theirs being a love marriage, and Sameer's family's opposition etc - first few days and rasams would not have gone smoothly for N. There is always that hesitation and nervousness.. BUt there should have been a balance.

Why is that writers did not take the opportunity to show Naina's resourcefulness especially with the permed hair.. dropping plates is ok, even failing to make appetizing halwa is fine..that public humiliation is so painful.N has been shown to be a quick thinker and getting out of messy situations most of the times -this hair secret could have come out during pag phera..

Most viewers think V will help her out.. now those chances are also remote and none..She will hold N responsible for insult to Maheshwaris

Exactly, they could have shown a young bride failing at tasks at her new home, but Naina being resourceful, could have done some tasks right also, like the cooking. She didn't have to fail in each and every task. This is too lop side, CVs should have maintained some balance.

You are right, we were expecting V to support N. But here she may end up holding N responsible for Maheshwaris' insult. Before leaving, V should talk to the both of them and say that you have fought against the world to be together but now is when your true test begins of being there for each other and also explain to Sameer what a woman goes through when she leaves her family behind and comes to a new household. She needs his support at every step. Who better than V to explain, after having Somani for a husband, who is still taunting her at this stage in their marriage.

Tell me about it yaar! This Somani is being such a brat. He is fighting for attention against his step son, like seriously!

And today's his lines when Naina thanked MunDit that they did everything in this wedding. What did Somani do or for that matter what did even Vishakha do for the prep work? At least Vishakha participate and was genuinely happy for her son, but Somani & MM, They came as guests, ate, taunted and are still taunting and will leave.

The episode was good but so sad. Who are these ladies and why does V not have anything to say to Mami or the other ladies. So much of insults and today the one person who could have said something stood and listened to all the insults.

Even MunDit trying to cheer Sameer I didn't like. Not one person was able to say that its just hair. It will be set in 3-4 months. Its not going to stay like that forever. Instead even MunDit were giving ideas of caps & blindfold.

This hair fiasco I think is to make Sameer realize that you must say what you mean and mean what you say. Its not enough to mouth lines like "I love you however you are". When actually something changes in your partner how will you react. In this case its just a hairstyle. Remember the movie 'Vivaah' where the would be bride's face is burnt partly and the groom still marries her. That is love, which Naina has for Sameer and he should learn and develop too.

My only wish was that V will stay and bond with Samaina and as you said explain and make Sameer understand about how the girl has left behind everyone to be with him and needs his support. But from the looks of it Somani has already bought tickets and given an ultimatum to V so I feel this time too she will just go.

Now after the halwa mess up, I cannot imagine Naina not breaking down. In fact if I were Naina I would cry not to go back with Sameer because I cannot take any more taunts/insults. Naina is one girl who can bear anything on her but today again her Chacha-Chachi also bore so many insults and she will stand up for that.

Either Sameer should realize himself or Naina should pour out everything that happened on her first day at his home.

Even I dint like Mundit's suggesions as if shaadi has become Naina's hair and nothing more... not even once Sameer thought of all the insults and humiliation Naina is feeling in all this... as if Naina wants to look ugly
Hair has become more important than Naina's self respect and feelings 🤔

I don't think you can compare these two situations..I'm sure if something similar to the movie had happened to naina or for that matter happens in future..sameer will never leave nainas side.
Sameer simply asked naina to leave her natural hair open..agreed it was something which went wrong..but you can't deny the fact that naina has her share of fault in it too...
See the hair is a concious decisiln taken by her gone wrong..and that is also angrying sameer as why she experimented...
Even naina should understand that sameer loves her the way she is..he has prooved it multiple times..the why these experiments and that too on her big day...
On top it gave the guests another reason to laugh at her and he actually couldn't say anything because it was as I said a concious decision and a big risk taken...

I agree with @appukrish, umam & USwamy.

This went overboard. I know that new brides do face problems and naina being young is more vulnerable but i cant accept the fact that she failed in all rasams. Cvs definitely could have balanced it out. She humiliated at every step is so not done. Even relatives kaun itna taunt karta hai new bahu ko yaar. Har koi kisina kisi wajah se usko sunatha hi rehtha hai. Thats definitely not realistic.

I am dissapointed with sameer too. Agreed that he is shocked because of how she looks, naina does look funny with that hairdo but when all started taunting he could have taken a stand and told its ok she dosent look that bad either, one word and all would have shut their mouths. Later he could have fought with her alone. But he chose to be angry and walked off. He has seen how naina is insulted for everything from the time she entered the house and he has mostly kept mum and now being angry himself in front of others makes him look worse. I thinks CVs could have handled it in a better way.

@Uma, we always asked what was the purpose of this horrible hairdo. If it was to show that for sameer nainas look didnt matter, then we already know it, its a established fact. But after seeing his reaction yesterday yeh logic toh ulta pad gaya. Now we think it is for V to help N and their bonding to start. If this also dosent happen then i am curious to know the purpose of this horrible hairdo.

Sorry to disagree I didn't find it hilarious at all ..probably because I know what it is to get married into a different community and get taunts..and Sameer's initial reaction was fine , but he should have stood by her rather than run away from there. A man has to stand by his wife and never leave her alone to fight it all by herself. Well the question is if he cant save her from his own families taunt , how will he fight the world for her??

His character was butchered to the core...trust me its not easy to be in Naina's position. When we are there we will know how painful and alone we feel and that too after loving this man for four years and this is what he gave her after seeing a curled hair.

Even if he had laughed and then tried to understand what happened and consoled her it would have been fine.but this was too much...back to back humiliation for Naina.
