Naina has always been shown quite sensible and frankly speaking I could not digest her jumping on the bed in her wedding finery in the middle of the night when she is not even supposed to be in her husband's room. CVs have sent Naina's brain on a holiday just for the purpose of creating OTT drama . I understand that she is just 20 but 90s girls used to be far more mature than today's girls. They were taught to maintain decorum from a very young age.

Naina flunked her first Rasam (thali one). When she told Bela Chachi about it, she was instructed by her Chachi to be mindful about other Rasams. What did Naina do? She made the conscious choice of going into Sameer's room when she was strictly told not to do so.

Secondly, Naina is the smarty pant. Before marriage, she used to tiptop with phone from room to balcony so that she would talk to Sameer without waking anyone up. Now that same girl didn't know that jumping on the bed & making her husband jump on the bed as well would cause noise, which may potentially wake up the guests sleeping downstairs. Neither jumping in front of Sameer is a big deal nor bringing out the inner child in her is, but why couldn't she wait until next day to jump or bring that inner child out when everybody had left the house. That is the height of stupidity. Even my four year old knows that if he jumps on the bed at the middle of the night, I will go to his room and yell at him.

CVs are making the otherwise very smart and sensible female lead look very dumb and idiotic but our loyalty to Samaina is so deep that we cannot convince ourselves that she actual put her in the situation where people could ridicule her.

Isn't that the point. Naina never really got the chance to bring out the child in her. She was always expected to be mature, understanding and perfect. Her real self comes out only when she's alone with Sameer.

Sameer & Naina always had a choice of marrying in a small private ceremony but marrying big was Naina's dream. Hence this big fat wedding! If the wedding was small and private, there would be no drama, no name calling. If there are relatives, they are going to talk, even without Mami making a big deal. I absolutely agree that Mami made a scene when she could have just taken V upstairs to sort things out. She does not like Naina and is looking for opportunity to slander her whenever possible. However, it also true that Mami did not make Naina walk into the room with Sameer, Mami did not make her jump on the bed - Mami just used Samaina's idiocy against them.

I am not saying Mami is right but I am also saying that Naina's move was dumb and thoughtless. If she waited one more day until the house was empty, there would have been no drama.
