True. Dont you remember all the insults Rakesh spewed and the whole Bela and Anand fight. There was drama then too. I think the main reason here is that we dont have Samaina together during haldi like we had in Pooja Di's shaadi. Plus we had just newly discovered Sameer's amazing flirting skills that time so we were all on a high.

I am sure the upcoming functions will be a lot more fun because Sameer will sneak in for the mehendi I think.

Plus the whole family drama is something that doesnt exactly go against the characters that were set out from the beginning.

Rakesh- has always neglected Naina. His pride has always mattered more to him.

Taiji Tauji- staunch traditionalists who are against love marriage and the whole biradri thing and have now made it a personal issue. They have never really cared for Naina and have treated her like a thorn in their butts from the beginning.

But in all this what I noticed is that the Haldi for the bride comes from groom's side and vice versa. They didn't do that here. Vishakha asked Poonam to make the haldi into paste that's it..

Cant agree more on the rushed up scenes. Infact they are not even decking Naina up like a would be bride. I am not sure if Sangeet will happen.

That Mai ni Mai song will be at nightwears within family where Naina will try to Convince Chachi who I guess will be upset after Vishakha's Venom onver Samaina meet and hickey 🥱
