The purpose of the second function..?

Ok so its clear that in the maheshwaris function there is just like a celebration kinda thing..the actual sagai with ring exchange will be done at day time. So what exactly is the purpose of the second function? I think it to make some more people to accept samainas alliance..if we look by the segments of naians dance..sameer is first not happy..he might know that nainas has an injury and asks her to not dance but naina will as she will feel this is the time to make vishakha change her opinion about her. If we look carefully in of the segments when nainas dances with vishakha she does gets to know about nainas leg injury and has a little bit guilty expressions...she even blesses her and sameer also smiles when vishakha blesses naina.
I think vishakha might soften towards naina..shayed voh sochne lage..? Mayebe not openly accept but sha might reduce her taunts mayebe even stop mami some times.
By the time of the marriage I do feel vishakha will have a change of heart towards naina.

Vishakha k cheap harkatein dekhne k baad I don't have any expectations from her. Maheshwari agarwal drama dikhane k liye bhi ho sakta hai yeh function dikhaye. But if vishakha softens towards naina then to maja hi aa jayega haini haini 😆

Yes I had written earlier that the 2nd function is only a celebration of the engagement with Maheshwari friends and family in their lavish style.

Mami for sure wants to show off their richness especially to the Agarwals. I won't be surprised if she keeps taunting them in the function.

Vishakha unfortunately has fallen into Mami's Company and is behaving like her. Mami makes cheap comments whike Vishakha makes sophisticated comments, bas yahi farq hai donon mein. Sadly none, not even V understands Sameer.

I do believe V will accept Naina and start liking her before the marriage unless makers decide to leave it like this. Mama Mami's acceptance and liking of Naina doesn't matter because they are not immediate family and they are not permanent in Ahm.

So yes Naina's dance inspite of her injury may be the beginning of V softening towards Naina...
At least I hope it is..

Actually it's good that two functions are happening. So all friends and relatives of both families are aware of this. Then the elders may not try too much to break this alliance.
For Mami this second function is just for showing off. Sadly Vishakha again became like a puppet in the hands of Mama Mami. She was always like that. She never raised her wishes in front of family members. Neither when Sameer was young when she knew very well that Somani and Dadi treated him badly nor now when she knew very well that asking Sameer to go away from Naina is just same like murdering him. But still she is doing it because she doesn't have the courage to go against Somani. I think Vishakha personally doesn't have any problem against Naina. If Naina is either from a rich family or quite stylish like Sunaina then she may have accepted her at first glance itself. After seeing Naina she understood that none of her family members are going to accept her. So she is also rejecting her.
Hoping that these two functions will make Vishakha understand how much Sameer and Naina loves each other. At least if she is not going to stand with Sameer now then she will lose him completely for rest of the life.

The second sagai function is just for keeping up with their standards, their richness and status in society. i haven't seen the spoiler segment of nainas dance and injury. If that's the case,maybe this may soften Vishaka towards Naina. It is high time Vishaka goes beyond her first impression and actually tries and understands Samaina relationship and stops being so shallow!😕 Wondering post Sagai what is the track coming up, are they leaving college track just like that. I heard serial has contract only till march, may end then, is that true? explains the sudden rush to marriage i guess!😔

The march thing is because their contract gets renewed then. There is no news about show going off air Nd madhu mam(bela chachi) herself confirmed that. Trp har show ke liye important hoti hai. The trp will be analyzed till march and then decision will be taken. I really don't feel there is any rush in the story. This is the right time to imtroduce their mareiage track..secondly abhi sirf sagai hui hai. I guess there is time before they show marriage. They are going to college as they have scenes in red rose, its just that they are not goving exclusive class room scenes and its ok tbh..right now its good they are focusing on details in samainas sagai track rather than rival gang kionke that has been dragged enough.
