The switch has been flipped and the madness lurking beneath was splayed all over the walls in the Maheshwari Mansion. Can you see those pictures of Naina everywhere and remember the wall full of her name?
This right here is the deewangi. He can see no one ahead of her. No name exists ahead of her's; not even his. Etched on his heart in black ink that belies the darkness he is hiding, is her name. Bold and big. A badge of honour for him as he flashes it to his mother's face. A way of saying look what you made me do mother, look what your lies and deception has pushed me to. You thought I was blind in her love now you will see the true scale of my blindness because to get her I will be morally blind now. Noticeable in the second picture are those eyes that show he can cross all limits because he is too weak to bear the trauma of her absence from his life, he is too weak to lose his soul again. She defines his moral compass, witnessed when he refused to tell her what he had done because he can be called upon his wrong deeds and not care but in front of Naina, if he is wrong he will be wrong for himself.
Nothing matters to him more than Naina. Not even his own life. Earlier too during the separation phase he had confessed to thinking about suicide but couldn't go through with it because Naina would have done the same harm to herself. Then too it was the thought of Naina that saved his life and today as well. Naina is literally his jaan, his zindagi. He won't be able to live without her. 'Tumhe paane ke liye main kuch bhi karsakta hoon' he knows that for him there is and never has been a hadd, a threshold where his love is concerned. Remember the way he had beaten up Sharad? He had lost control because that man had abused her. It was just the tears on her face that had really stopped him.
Ek aag hai, ek tadap hai, mere humnava sab tumhare liye hai. His eyes scream every second of everyday as he sits in his house, surrounded by people but alone without her.
"Ha Mera dimaag theek nahi hai", he admitted it himself. He can do anything to get his Naina. There is no right or wrong where Naina is concerned. Because he only knows that the true injustice will be if she is taken away from him. They can take away her presence from his life but he will forever be haunted by her image and her name will be seared all over his being. Because he truly belongs to her in every sense. His heart. His body. His life. They are all her's for the taking.
Underneath it all, you can see the abandoned lonely soul whose loved ones have left him constantly. The loss of Nanu broke him; he cried real tears of grief. Tears he has only shed again for Naina. Be it the guilty tears that night in Mount Abu, the tears of leaving her because he thought he was manhoos for her or the tears of his constantly aching heart when Naina had left him. Lurking under those tears, is the dark bottomless abyss where his heart meets his soul fused with the name 'Naina'.
The bell switch flipped at the Agrawal flat, calming the fury of darkness in him. His eyes softened the second he saw her.
His love. His life. His junoon. His pagalpanti.
His Deewangi.

Indeed! The cinematography was a stroke of genius here. Of course only enhanced by the acting genius that is Randeep Rai. There were such subtle expression changes on his face that you could pick out what had happened to him 👏Now that the dark side of Sameer is awakened he is not going to spare anyone who would intend in separating him from his Naina. Waiting for more of this madness...I live for this madness. Because love is madness as Shreya aka Mayashika states in her comment. And Sameer is Naina's certified deewana, for him there is no limit to this madness.

Perhaps thats why SamAina's love is so magical because un dinon love was true madness.That's true on Samaina's case, we are well aware what can Naina do for him and vice versa. Both are mad, mad for each other. A stable family which Sameer has found in Naina.The madness of love is greatest of heaven's blessings! ❤️Truly and beautifully as you have expressed it!Hope they give us more of this shade in his character and allow you to update this more often!I crave such moments because Sameer's madness is so dark, twisted and ferocious.
