Hello All! This is just something I noticed in today's episode. If I get a good response, this thread will be updated every time we glimpse something like this in the show. Which according to spoilers is going to occur alot.

Sameer Maheshwari's Deewangi
26/12- 'Harkadam ek nayee jung'
Notice the slight expression change here which turned around the psyche of Sameer. In the first picture you can see the anger, the frustration, the helplessness and the fear of losing his life, his Naina. Pure rage emoted here with the first swing of the boxing bag.
Now see the shot below. {Which is by the way one of my favourites now.}
Notice the shadow falling on his face and him engulfed in darkness. This is the exact moment you can see Sameer Maheshwari take a turn to the dark side. From Naina's gentle Majnu who wants to stick to his promise of behaving with his family to Naina's deewana who has been pushed to the edge of the cliff. You can see the rage, the loneliness, the sadness but what stands out the most is the deep, dark madness.
Having lived his entire life in a series of Vishaka's failures as a mother, he has had it today. He lost the last hope in her and he was scared that the only happiness he has would be taken away from him.
I think this is where the separation track from before really blooms. It gave us a glimpse into Sameer's psychotic love for Naina. Like there is nothing in his life but that girl. He first took up sanyas in the hope that Naina would come to him out of concern.
When that failed he resorted to failing his own humanity and using Sunanina as a pawn in the hope that Naina would come to him out of sheer jealousy.
As he has only Naina to lose in his life, you can see the trauma of not just the college kid who had to deal with separation but the pain of an abandoned, lonely child whose soul was saved by Naina.
Kudos to this one shot and Randeep's eyes for portraying this turn. It wasn't just anger here for me, it was the darkness that has always been inside him. Which is why he used to constantly fight and engage in delinquency before he fell for Naina. And since then her presence has kept this darkness at bay. Like in the Delhi track, Sameer once again stooped down to those murky depths of his traumatised soul because Naina wasn't there. And he returned because of Naina's love for him. This time around he saw Naina being taken away from him and that sent him into the worst possible darkness because he knows he would not be able to bear the separation this time around.
The second swing of the bag marked the twisted, wicked, and dark Sameer Maheshwari who can go to any depths for his love.
This. Is. His. Madness. His Darkness. His Deewangi.
