Right now iam on a mission to complete my other story " en-route of pregnancy". Just few more updates are remaining. After that i would focus on this story.

Part - 2

Few days passed by and Sameer was still annoyed with Naina’s presence. After that night, he never came face to face with her. He was very cleverly ignoring her by not going to the table for breakfast, lunch or dinner.He would leave early in the morning and come back late. Vishakha too never forced Sameer to have any conversation with her or about her. For Sameer, her presence in his home was equal to nil while Naina’s blur memory about his presence in her room got cleared after seeing the photographs in the living room. His ignorance was well understood by her as anybody in his place would do the same.

Sameer had shared with munna and pandit about the incident and the undivided attention that was being showered on that girl,whose name he didn’t care to remember. They kept assuring him that soon everything would be back to normal and instead of worrying about the small village girl, as they had started to tag her, he should focus about filling the college forms.

On such a day, at home, Naina was quite normal and started talking to vishakha about usual things. Vishakha was relieved and so avoided asking any questions relating to her family. Soon bobby too joined the conversation and got to know that Naina had given her 12th exams just like Sameer and had scored 94%, Also she was well acquainted with English language and being from hindi medium school, she had learnt it from the books supplied by her pen friend Hema. All this information was quite surprising for the Maheshwaris.

“ Naina beta, mai janta hu tum abhi iss bare mei kuch baat nahi karna chahti par tumhari safety ke liye kya tum mere kuch sawalo ka jawab dogi?” bobby asked with concern.

Naina got a bit shaken but nodded. Vishakha smiled and holded her hand to comfort her.

“tum apni shaadi se bhaagi kyu?”

“ sir please koi bi sawal kar lijiye par iska jawab main nahi de paungi” her voice choked.

“koi baat nahi. Tum janti ho ki Vo log kon the jo tumhara peecha kar rahe the?”

“han vo mere papa, chachaji, or ladke wale or …” she trailed off as the blurr memory flashed in front of her eyes.

“or??”

“ or shayad kuch gunde bi the” she replied in a shaky voice

“uss dinn toh mai tumhe mil gya par agar mai vahan ni hota toh kuch socha tha ki tum kahan jaogi ya kya karogi? Kisiko btaya tha tumne?”

“ji vo…” uncertainty reflected in her voice.

“dekho daro matt. Tumhari safety ab humare haath mei hai” he assured

“darasal muje ek college se scholarship ki offer aaythi. Vahan hostel facility bi thi. Kisiko ghar mei iss bare mei ni pta tha .Maine vahi jane ka socha tha. Par chachaji ko kahi se pta chal gya isliye unhe shaq hua.” And she stopped there only.

Vishakha and bobby exchanged some apprehensive glances.She had planned it all. They could definitely sense that there was something more which she is not ready to reveal. Bobby then made Naina write down the names of the people following her that night. They had thought about involving the police but now knowing the number of people involved, this idea seemed a bit risky.

When Naina dispersed to her room, Bobby decided to use his own sources to find out more information. Few hours later he got a call and he was right. Police had already started searching for Naina. The groom side was a family famous for all the bad reasons in that village. It won’t take much longer to find her.

“Ab hum kya karenge.? Vo bacchi toh vaise hi itni dari hui hai” vishakha expressed apprehensively.

“muje bi samajh nahi aa rha. Sunne se toh aisa hi lag rha hai ki vo ache log nahi hai. Agar inhone Naina ko dhoond liya toh pta nahi kya karenge” bobby voiced his concern too.

“humne koi galti toh nahi kari use yahan rakh kar ? Sameer par toh koi musibat ni aegi na?” came words from a mother’s heart.

“pta nahi vishakha. Ab hume jo bi karna hai jald hi karna hoga”

“hum use police ke hawale karde?” said vishakha without giving a thought to any other alternative.

“tum pagal hogy ho? Bohat khatarnak hai vo log. Aise hi dede uss bacchi ko? Uski halat nahi dekhi tumne?” he expressed disbelievingly

The door bell rang. Sensing it to be Sameer, they masked a normal face and vishakha opened the door. Sameer came inside with a wide smile.

“mom-dad, maine decide karliya hai ki muje konse college mei jana hai.”

“Acha btao kya decide kiya?” asked vishakha, trying to keep her voice normal.

“muje delhi jana hai padhne. 80% mei muje delhi university ka acha college mil jaega”

“delhi? Par Sameer..” vishakha was shocked.

“ maa please. Meri life ke saare decisions apne or dad ne liye hai. Yeh decision muje lene dijiye” he pleaded.

Vishakha and bobby looked at each other. Both were in a different mindset and now this request by Sameer only added to it. After a few minutes of silent thinking, bobby looked at Sameer “acha theek hai. Tum jaisa chahte ho vaisa hoga”. Vishakha’s eyes widened and before she could say anything, Sameer had started to jump in elation.

“thank you so much dad….mai abhi munna pandit ko btakar ata hu” and he ran away. A moment ago, his words were like grownups but this action, again reminded them, that he is still a kid.

“ bobby apne kyu kaha aisa? Vo abhi bacha hai. Kaise manage karega vo naye sheher mei?”

“ vishakha maine kuch sochkar hi yeh kadam uthaya hai”.

Few days passed by and Sameer had filled the forms. The results came and he got the college of his choice. His happiness knew no bound.The thought of experiencing new environment, new freedom, was driving him crazy.Although this didn’t last long.

“mom please! apne mujse yeh expect bi kaise kiya?” Sameer was hell annoyed.

“Sameer beta baat samajhne ki koshish karo” bobby started

“kya samjhu ?aap chahte hai ki mai uss ladki ke saath delhi jau? Aap jante hai na ki ek ghar mei rehkar bi maine uski shakal ni dekhi orr aap ab use mere saath bhejne ki baat kar rahe h”

“Sameer tumhe uske saath rehne ke liye koi nahi keh rha. Tum dono bas ek building mei rahoge, flats alag honge”

“par…”

“Sameer beta Naina ki jaan khatre mei hai, baat samjho. Uska yahan se jana hi sahi hai. Kitne time takk hum use yahan chupa kar rakhenge?”vishakha tried to make him understand.

Sameer looked at his parents who were trying to convince him at any cost. What more annoyed him was the importance that girl holds in their life, which was enough for completely ignoring their son’s comfort or wishes.

“orr vo ladki tyaar hai iss sheher ko chodne ke liye?”he asked sarcastically, though he already knew the answer. All had been planned and finalized. He had just been told what to do and his wish or reply doesn't even matter.

“humne usse baat kar li hai. Vo bhi tyaar nahi thi.Par vo aage padhna chahti hai jo ahemdabad mei nahi ho sakta.” Said bobby, side by side finalizing the flats.

“or uski saari responsibility aap lenge?” asked Sameer irritated.

“Nahi! Jab takk use part time job ni mil jati bas tab takk vo humari responsibility hai. Uske baad na vo hume janti hai na hum use.” Replied bobby.

“Ab aapne sab soch hi liya hai toh mai kya bolu. Lekin mai sirf delhi land karne tak uske saath rahunga. Uske baad mujse kuch expect matt karna” Sameer announced and left.

Vishakha and bobby sighed. This was the most important task that was to be handled delicately and were relieved that at least he agreed to accompany her till Delhi.

All this was witnessed by Naina from a distance. Her eyes were filled with mixed emotions. Now she knew how much Sameer hated her and her presence, but the steps that his parents took for her safety overpowered all his hate. Her heart and mind was filled with gratitude and a burden of not letting them down at any cost and paying their debt as soon as possible.They kept her safety and studies above their son’s happiness, now it was her turn. She decided to maintain the required distance as Sameer wished, for his happiness and safety.

Bobby and vishakha are soo helpful... dusron ke liye koi bhi itna to nahi sochta...!!! Sameer ke saath ek hi building mein,ek shehar mein... !! Lekin sameer hates her too much.. and now naina also will be maintain distance from him...!!! Let's see what happens....🤔!
